I have seen that guys have been pushing the stock 6.0 truck motors a lot farther than stock ls1's as far as boost goes. I would say aim for 10lbs to start and go from there.

Here's my setup. Not an LS series engine, but a procharger nonetheless. Its a D1SC I got from EPP. Looking to dyno it this spring. There's just one pipe missing when I took the pic, but its all done now.

I started tearing the old stuff out of my WS6 this week... I would do a build thread, but I don't think anyone is that interested in a plain old run-of-the-mill D1SC build. I'll update here as I go.

Anyone else have a hell of a time getting the fan shroud out of those retainers on the radiator? It's like that badboy is glued on or something... I'm about to break out the BFH.

Best thing to do is hit the bottom of the fan with your palm. Really hard lol. It will pop out.

Nice numbers. My completely stock motor '02 Z28 put down 542/488 on 10 psi, running out of injector at 5300 RPM. Have upgraded the injectors and am going back to the dyno soon. Hope to hit 560 RWHP now.

10 psi and as high of timing as you can go without knock should easily make 560+. Do you run meth as well? Well an update on my car...I got into a small fender bender on sunday night. Its not to bad but it sets my plans back a little bit. Windshield needs to be replaced as well as the dash. Guess I need to wait to do the EPP cam lol
