Twin MP70's on an LS3 416 w/ AFR 225's

Yes. And now it has a stock crank so cubes are down to around 380ci.
Here's the motor on the kmember ready to go back in.
In the car.
Here is a picture of the stock modified cluster with the Holley programmable gauges in it. This turned out to be a great idea that one of our Ford buddies came up with.

Are they Wiseco? Or is there even Wiseco forged pistons available for the LS3?

wow, that is exciting for only 4 psi boost. are you sure there are springs in the wastegate?
sounds like there might not be springs in them at all.
ps. just looking at your old times NA, it looks like it picked up nothing over the NA setup. what would you attribute this to?

Went back out today. Still no 2 step. Wiring guy is slacking. Car went 10.34,10.42,10.38 all at 130.XX. Really soft 60 due to there being no boost on the tbrake and the full 4 psi doesn't arrive until right at the 60'.
As to why there is no boost on the transbrake, He is running 2 44mm wastegates which is way more wastegate than he needs. You gotta remember that wastegates are mechanical devices (specially w/o boost controller and CO2) so they are not an ON/OFF type thing. As you start building exhaust pressure, the wastegate will start to crack open. More so with a really soft spring. Add the fact that the WG 's are way big and it just takes them cracking open just a little bit to bleed off alot of pressure. If he put in the 8 psi spring, I would bet that he would have atleast 1-2 psi by the 4K RPM that he is launching. With this soft a spring, the 2 step will likely only give him 1-2 psi anyways so the answer is boost control + CO2 which will be coming very soon.
The main thing right now is just make sure that everything is working good. The new Holley EFI system is an absolute dream to tune on and the closed loop fueling holds target AFR VERY well all the way thru the passes without much tuning on my part. It also learns on each pass so that it has to make less corrections each time.
Another thing is that everything is setup way conservative. I'm sure that with his current compression and E85 at this boost level, we could be hitting it with 28-30* but it's only got 24* and the AFR is at 11.5 on a gas scale.
Joe's been pretty unlucky for the last couple of years so we are taking it slow and double checking everything to try and change his luck. LOL
