Got the car back on the road, and went for a drive with the new PTC converter. Feels a hell of a lot tighter and better. Still have a lot of little things to do. I hope to have it at the track within the next few weeks. I will be running on E70 so the results wont be impressive im sure. Just have to wait for the E85 to switch back over to get a retune. Also just built this Kurt Urban Water Vapor Mount.

Thanks, i had the car out friday night and played with it a little. Converter is hella tight, which is so much better. And i upped the boost a little and did some small role pulls which are always fun. Had it to 18psi and holy hell did it feel good. The smaller sized charge pipes seem to be helping with spool time even with the tighter converter i can still tell a noticeable difference going from 3.00" to 2.25".

Still need to get the LNC-003, fuel gauge working, suspension setup, allignement, little stuff like that wrapped up. But i will post up some track results, or dyno vids once i have em.

you'll do just fine with 2 1/2. it's a proven size for ls setups and i think skinnies is 2 1/2 iirc and he runs 4.8 or 5.3 and looks like you've got a 383 unless you're going with something smaller.

Yes 2.5" would be fine with anything I just wanted to go to the extreme from biggest to usually the smallest. And again yes its a noticeable difference.

*Update*

Got the car back on the dyno friday and upped the boost to 22.9 psi, dropped the fuel pressure base to 38, upped the limiter to 6500 and gave her hell. She tuned out nicely , and will be heading to the track next weekend for some 1/4 mile hits. Vids will be posted of the dyno later on. Also vids of the track that night.

Also got the 160 high imp injectors up to 92% duty cycle so there running close to maxed. I would say around 25psi in my car and thats all the will handle.....

No, im on e85. So those injectors are only good to about 1150-1200 @ 100%. I was informed by my tuner that they have released a updated injector that is ether 200 or 220 lbs high impedence. But the price was looking like 1000 bucks for each side......

I've got the FIC2000's which are supposed to be ~208lbs@43.5lbs fuel pressure for e85. They were 500 bucks for each side

It probably only made 800 RWHP

J/K, but prove me WRONG!!!!

Real guess would be 1185HP/1090 Trq at the tires @ 6500

I am actually really curious because I have the same 160LB injectors and figured they should support 1500 RWHP on E85 @ 60 PSI base & 90% with some twin 76 MM precisions and a good intercooler....

The dyno was not for chasing #s, it was for tuning, but it put down 776 HP / 778 TQ @ 5800 RPM. Keep in mind this was on a mustang dyno that is ran tight as hell, and the numbers really dont mean dick. Sometime this summer i may get on a dynojet to see what crazy numbers it will put out, and if i do i will post it up. Vids are coming tomorrow.

Here is what i did the next night:
