Right on, I am thinking about doing the same for my Mustang coupe, but really debating if I want to attempt to remove ALL the wires and misc CRAP from the engine bay. Seems like a ton of stuff. I am still trying to figure out which wires I need and which ones I can ditch.

its true, i know nothing when it comes to wiring
hell even old carb'ed small block wiring im iffy with at best.
when i picked up my 5.3 for my build and saw all the wiring, literally my first instinct was to just say d it and go big block / blower / turbo 400 like everyone else.
butthe internet , especially here , is filled with tons of great people ,articles , and most helpful of all PICTURES !

No problem man. The "beast" is nothing more than a big paperweight right now anyway lol. Still waiting for the funds to get the deck machined and rotating assembly balanced before I can do much of anything anyway
Whenever you're ready I'll have the refreshments cool.
