Denmah, A friend of mine just picked up the On376 deal, and i was over today helping them decide where to place it, i loosened up the bolts on the compressor housing and the turbine housing, (brand new turbo) and it did NOT spin freely to clock the housings, can they be clocked?

Alright, lol. I guess i was thinking back to my previous 2 turbonetics and the borg im using now, lol. They spun the moment the bolts were loose.

On anther note, related, i removed a few of the completley and it looked as if their was some copper RTV around the edge where the cover meets the backing plate... Thought that was odd.

my old 101 spun easy but the dozen or so MP's ive used on various builds all needed a mallet to pop them loose

yeah it depends, give it a whack if not hit it with some penetrating oil and take all the bolts out and knock it apart with a dead blow or mallet.

copper RTV on the turbine housing where it meets the center section is strange...

yeah it shifted early and was in third most of the pull thats why its funny, stll playing with the trans settings haha. i dont like it downshifting ide rather it stay in gear, so i made it that when its in a high gear and i hit it it says unless i am going really slow, so that spun and i pedaled enough and it hit 3rd and when i rolled back into it it just stayed,

hope that makes sense,

106.6 in the 8th mile today on average of 1.9 60ft doing some tuning on the trans and engine since the converter holds better.

looks like i am out of fuel at 16psi already. gunna get a big fuel pump

also hitting the rev limiter a little on the 1-2 shift i lowered the shift

3 of us jumped in, drove to the track, blasted out some 106's in the 8th and then drove home haha. my friend corey drove the car today.

i have some video ill toss up...
