It has 3.5 stainless duals back to the trans where it transitions to aluminum and Vibrant aluminum mufflers and ends at the axle.
New best yesterday 5.56 at 161. Closed off the front of the grille and bumper helped the mph nicely.
Had it turned up for pass number three and it launched like it never had before and broke something in the trans on the 1-2 shift. That's all for this year.

Thanks guys!!
I like pictures so here is a few from the day at Cordova.
The grille and bumper close off seems to gain a little bit up top.
Im not sure where exactly this pic was taken but it carries the wheel(s) pretty good now. Luckily not giant wheelstands, just enough for me.
A couple more of the engine bay since my previous photos on here were kinda dark.
Thanks to Mike Pryka Photography for the pics. Look him up on FB too.
On another note, 66mm turbos are off the car and for sale. Nothing crazy for next year, just a little bigger compressor, whittle some more weight off this winter, and see if I can get it down into the 8.20's.

Nate is your subframe welded to the body now or still removable? And did you not see the need for bars into the engine compartment from the cage for rigidity? What body mounts are you running?

VHT flameproof on the turbine housings. The intake and valve covers are Duplicolor low gloss black which is thhhheeee beeeessst aerosol paint anywhere and has the perfect sheen.
It has poly body bushings and bolt in subframe connectors. Subframe is removeable as I plan to replace it with the lightweight version at some point. The roll bar was done years ago and I converted it to a 10pt a couple years back. I plan to tear it out and tig in a new cm cage when it eventually goes 25.x and I can afford the aluminum big block.

I have a shock crossmember up in between the frame rails. There is enough room for a 17" long shock with a 5" stroke but it is very close to being bottomed out. When I was on Drag Weekend with everything loaded up, I only had 3/4" of compression left. It was fine with the shocks on full compression but I plan on lowering the bottom of the shock an inch or so to compensate for it. The Calvert springs have settled/bent a bunch and is the main reason it is so low. Im not complaining though. I bet it has settled 2" from when I first put them in a couple years ago.

Interesting. My Calvert springs have never settled. But it's likely I have the stiffer front portion.
To get my car down a bit I used 72 Firebird front spring eye mounts. Moves the front spring eye about 3/4" up into the body.
Agree on the Duplicilor paint. Good stuff! All their paints are.
