Lol on current 8 psi when we sprayed methanol it looked like a shower came out of the bov when we let off the gas. To afraid motor will pop to turn it up yet. Gonna enjoy it for now. I'll get brave when I pay some of these bills down...

I ran my old LS1 with stock 241 heads, stock head bolts and 227/224 114 cam to the tune of 113mph in the 8th mile. I weighed it at 3870lbs. one night with a half tank of gas so it was making over 700rwhp according to online calculators, actually more like 740-750rwhp.

I wouldn't be scared at all of 15-18psi.

Can you fit a filter on it? Screens aren't the greatest idea.

I was mostly referring to a screen hurting it performance wise, but I guess you don't plan on turning it much more, if at all. Ha.

The spring that come in the jgs gate would only produce 5psi.... I added the other lightest spring to the gate(now having 2 springs) and got it to 8psi... There is one more spring that come with it but im afraid it is to stiff and may bump it to like 20 psi lol... May take the lighter one back out and add the stiff one... Just a hassle when you strapped down and exhaust and coolant hoses are hot and your trying to change stuff...

I go for more for sure..... Just gonna chill for a bit with what i got.. Should be super safe if we leave timing down around 15 degrees even going way up on boost..

Mine weighed in at 3400 on the dot with a half tank of fuel and 3 gallons of meth onboard without me in it.

Put the stiffer spring in. We could only get 4-5psi out of the spring that came in my JGS. Pulled it out and put the stiffest one in the box in it and it made 9.5lbs on the spring alone. My little Hallman manual controller holds it 15-16psi now.

Screens are much worse than filters, they really mess the incoming flow up. Get a filter with an inverted cone at the end, TONS of cheap ones out there.

I would have been surprised if you got off the dyno scott free! we had mine on there for 8+ plus hours chasing issues that couldnt be seen until we were ready to tune.. Youll get used to the power FAST, turn it up!

Leave timing alone, add methanol at full blast, put stiff spring in, make 20psi and 800rwhp.

Now it's done.

If the single stiff spring added 9.5lbs then the factory and stiff together should make around 15 psi.

Awww, don't ***** foot it LOL!

It will take every bit of 14psi if the tune is well mannered and that methanol is spraying full blast.
