Default L92 and boost

Hi I am building an l92 for boost and was wondering can I push 700whp l92 heads? I plan on getting scat rods weisco Pistons and run a stock crank with main studs. What Pistons should I get for boost?

Is the L92 still together? If so, leave it together and add boost.

I've taken my L92 heads and factory LS3 intake to 28lbs on MANY occasions. They are no different than a 799/243/806/823 castings. The only "thick deck" factory heads are the LSA.

Square your tune up and let it eat. 700whp is a joke for a good running L92 motor.

It's better than the opposite that's for sure.

So just an update, the Pistons have some ware on then so I can going to replace them primarily as I found a good set of Mahle Pistons, L92314070F05 there specs are L92/LS3 Chevy PowerPak Piston & Ring Kit
  • Forged 4032 High Silicon Aluminum Alloy
  • Bore: 4.070"
  • Pin Diameter: 0.927"
  • -4cc Dome Volume
  • Compression Ratio @70cc: 10.1:1
Will these Pistons help in making the power I want as compression is lower, I don't know a whole lot about compression numbers.
Thanks

10.1 is the most compression I would use on a FI motor. Those Pistons will work.

Could I further lower compression with a thicker head gasket?

Yes. Run ls9 gaskets and head studs. Might as well install bigger valve springs while heads are off.
