I followed the advice of some experienced first gen buddies and slotted the mounting holes for my manual master brake cylinder... installed
So I did most of the installing of my Viking double adjustable (not coilover) front shocks, part number B204.
I had to open up my BMR lower control arms, I guess that's typical for Viking and Strange shocks. The adjustable ***** will hard AF to access... I hate to redo stuff, but honestly if I can sell these shocks I'll switch to coilovers. For now I'll try to finish them up, but the ***** are freaking hard to reach.
Shocks are in. I hate how my control arms and shocks fit together. The adjustment ***** are buried in there, and it was a nightmare tightening the bolts up. Based on my personality, I can't keep those shocks and stock springs in there like that, so I'll eventually do coilovers. I hate having parts on the car that I don't like and can't reccomend.

You bending your own lines or using pre bent? If bending your own get the copper lines, they bend super easy. The pre bent stainless gets my vote though, super clean and tidy. Spring rate? Heck I dunno for that thing and its purpose im unsure what rate to suggest. Being a street machine it might be better to run a higher rate and use travel limiters? Dunno how much street/track favoritism you are after.
My 350's are not even close to fully compressed. It has twin s476's now, with an iron LSX block. And Glass hood.
I had 250's in it last year and it was very close to fully compressed, but worked great, it was a bit lighter then, with twin s366's and an iron ly6 block, no intercooler, and glass hood.
A friend said the 350 lb springs in his 1970 nova iron 5.3 and turbo are fully compressed... is that a good thing? Sounds soft no?
I got a Motion brake kit from a buddy, I'll have to look if it's copper.
+1 on the brake lines, but it's actually called Ni-cop line. It's a blend of nickel and copper. Pure copper will crack.
I have 350 pound springs on my Camaro with Strange double adjustables. They worked great until this year when I added the LSX block, front mount A2W, steel hood and bigger S400 turbos. Now I have to have them cranked way up. Stock block and a single 350lb should be perfect!
i run 350 springs on qa1 coil overs with TRZ uppers and lowers. ls swapped with a 3.6 kenne bell, and 2 radiators hanging off the front. they work for me, but i have my car sitting as low as the street will allow (front tires are tucked a few inches)
