Yeah I think for most of '21 I'll run these 15x12s with 28s and 29s, but I have been thinking about getting some 15x14s or even 15x15s which would give me the ability to run something that sits out a little better. Longer term I might dig into what it would take to 4 link the car and then I'd just start with a new housing.
For some reason my radiator wiring got hot, so we are redoing that. If snow holds off we'll do some street tuning, though I still plan to take the car to Jon Capizzi for the WOT tune.

Little updates:
I'm re-wiring my radiator fan, wire got hot. I have a Leash relay sitting around, using that for now. My Contour fan pulls a lot of power on start up.
I lined up another buddy to work on some driveability, he's going thru my tune now. Fingers crossed Chicago doesn't get any snow next couple of days so I can drive it some more.
I'd like to go mid 8s in 2021, with 7.99 potential. The cam, turbo and most other choices are patterned on Jon Capizzi's 7.7@174 build, I bought his old turbo and got a copy of his first cam. He was 2900, and I might be 3100 to start.
By the way, my car had a rough tune in it, and it needed a lot of work. I hired Andrew aka GotTaGt to do remote tuning and he did a killer job. Start up, idle, car is really good now. We'll get back at when the Chicago roads get cleared of salt.
In the meantime, I will continue to clean up wiring.
I will also spend a bunch of time air bleeding the cooling system.
I rewired the radiator fan and then Andrew aka GatTagO started to remote tune my car. Worked out great, got the cold start, idle and lower RPM stuff working great!!
I'm redoing my lower radiator hose, and then will take my time to bleed the cooling system.
Our roads are salted, so will be a while before the '67 gets on the road, but will be ready and waiting for that moment!!
After re-reading Rye's build thread I feel like I"m not going into enough detail lol, so here goes.
So I'm about 2.5 years on a pretty substantial redo of a former pro street car. Bought it running, parted it out the driveline in the first 48 hours of ownership. I already had the 8-71 and engine sold as a package, got good money for those.
Since the roller arrived at my garage, I've redone the following:
Drag brakes, new brake lines, new master cylinder
New front A arms, front Viking double adjustable shocks
My buddy with the shop installed prior the 5.3 which has a Baker Engineering turbo cam (Capizzi #1), 233/236. Also did trunnion mod to the rockers. He also installed the TH400 and welded up the turbo kit
Wired in a Holley Dominator + factory harness. Still picking at some aspects of it, but the car has 95% of everything wired up
Swapped in B&M rachet shifter
Swapped in Holley screen
Plumbed in C02 system
Fixed rust issue under windshield, had to bring car to a buddy, big detour
Pulled rearend out, had 31 spline axles and posi. Swapped internals, now has 40 spline Quick Performance axles and spool
Plumbed trans cooler + fan, has an air gap, it's under the passenger side seat
Swapped out old seats, swapped in Kirkeys + a bracket for the driver's seat to attaches to roll bar
Swapped fuel cell, and built system. Has 15 gallon plastic cell, two pumps, one is a Bosch 044 and the other is a Weldon 2345A. The plan is the Bosch handles low HP street duties, and the Weldon comes on with a few lbs of boost. Car is set to run on E85, but plan to plumb in a flex sensor
Swapped trunk lid to fiberglass unit from a buddy
The buddy who fixed the rust also installed my hood and installed the Aerocatch hood latches. Lot more work than meets the eye
Ordered and installed Sanders wheels, 15x3.5 front and 15x12 in the rear. The rears are 1.5 backspace.
What's next?
Get off my *** and swap out lower radiator hose that is a straight shot to the radiator, then bleed the system. When we last ran the car it got hot, probably has a lot of air in there, system has never really been bled
Then Andrew B can get back into the Dominator and assuming I have clean roads we'll work together to finish editing the operating tables.
I need to pick into my config for the big pump (Weldon 2345a), Andrew didn't see it in the tune but I think we just need to set up the entry in the Dominator, that pump is all wired up
After all that, make some boost hits in a local parking lot
After that, I need to swap out my ladder bars, current ones are pro street style, have poly rod ends. I have another set to swap in that will have solid ends in back and heims up front. I'll have to source and figure out some shims since the ends are smaller.

Drive it a lot, make sure it's 100% good
Track passes
Somewhere in there I insulated the garage and bought a propane heater.
