lol

Hoping next time we wrench (Fri or Sat) to make a few street hits.

I don't see me making a track pass for another 5-6 weeks only because I have to:
  • Swap out windshield, cracked won't pass tech
  • Alignment
  • Street hits to make sure everything is workin
  • Covid

Hey Mike, I've driven the car a handful of times. I had the cracked windshield pulled. The rust underneath was worth than expected, so I cut the rusted parts out. I bought a patch panel. I am waiting for this professional welder to swing by to spot weld in the patch panel and add a little more metal in the front. It's a setback. After that and the new windshield is installed, the car will go for boost tuning and an alignment. That's it really.

I pulled front off to gain access to all the sheetmetal

Wazzup... Update:
  • Rust under windshield fixed, and new 'shield installed
  • Car height adjusted, cut 1.5 coils out in front
  • Had Vibrant 9" muffler welded into down pipe
  • New grill installed
  • Rear tray area, new panel tinned in
Now just swapping ladder bars, and probably slightly move waste gates.

After this:
  • Finish tune
  • Alignment

It's the Glasstek 5" Sunoco hood, no idea if it looks like a Joe Van O hood.

I got the bolt on, I don't know the weights off hand, maybe 10 vs 20?

Looking good! Like that black one too.
Looks like a wheel offset in the rear is still needed?
Long road, glad to see it being finished off. Congrats!

Hey Tim, basically maybe. The rear in this car is super narrowed. I have a set of 15x12 1.5 backspace wheels in back now. I'm planning to go to a 29.5 in back so will mount tires first.

I had some Holeshot Holestar wheels on one car that had a real nice spacer that bolted onto the wheels. Those year Camaros look good when the wheel/tire is out to the quarter panel IMO, like that black one.
