Spoke to Turbonetics

Ok, for an oil FEED restrictor... I'm running a 1/4 inch feed line to the turbo, and the drain line is a 3/8 inch return connected directly to the Turbowerx Exa Pump scavenge pump, capable of 3 GPM and it then returns to the oil pan. I'm running the factory new ls6 oil pump which runs ~45-60psi I believe.

Word is NO RESTRICTOR necessary. Even on my ball bearing

We will test this and see, I do however believe that we will be fine without.

Fuel Lines:
-8 from tank to pump, -6 from pump to Y block, -6 on factory feed to Y block. Pretty much twin -6 feed and single -6 return

What size turbo and exhaust housing did you go with?

sweeet! Glad that you read all of it, there are some issues pointed out that needed to be addressed. Also, if you get a chance read Zombies thread & Schantins thread. More is better.

Great build thread, What rear end/gears did you go with? also, do you know what kind of gains you saw with the FAST 90/90 setup, how is response with it compared to other intake setup?

3.42 rearend gears. Saw a 14HP and 16TQ overall gain. It was worth going 90/90, however they no longer make that combo, everything is 100+ that I know of now.

looks like nice work there.
just curious why you didn't tuck the turbo up higher.
from the pics looks like you could have raised it up a few inches.

it actually went up a complete inch or so from where I had it, lol. To be able to fit the hose under the axle like we want, it can't go higher. especially with this 12 bolt

I will have to re-work that exhaust from the rear hanger to the turbo. It could easily go up another 2 inches.

will have some new pictures and probably some new videos shortly.

god the turbo sounds like a freaking jet engine throttling up.

running NO restrictor w/turbowerx exa-pump and 3/8 return line, no problems whatsoever. good straight return path also.

Great to see someone else going with a 3.42 gear... that's what I am thinking. I bought a 3.73, but I think it will be too tall, so I am selling it.
