I would imagine seeing how they're still working on March orders.

I ordered my rear about two weeks ago and Eric said he had approx. 18 orders ahead of mine, and they were doing about 5 a week, so I should have mine in approx. 4 weeks from time of order. Im sure Eric will chime in here soon, and give us an update.

I ordered mine on June 10th and at that time I was #19 so it may be getting close. On 6/30 he told me I was in the first part of the 3rd set of housings and it would put me at about 3 weeks (if powder coating got them out on time) so maybe next week I will hear something...fingers crossed!!

Eric, i know this is about your rear end. but what about the s60? with an aftermarket t/a will it hit the body? second can you make me a custome t/a for an s60. one that has low and high point. basicly like your rear.

thanks

we are having problems fitting the third member over onto the housing studs?? Even a rubber mallet would not hit it hard enough to slide onto the studs? Anyone else have this problem? What did you do to get the third member onto the housing studs? We are afraid we were gonna crack the aluminum housing?

Loosen the studs in your housing. Slide the center section on. Double nut the studs and retighten.

this is pretty close... my employee who was injured in the motorcycle accident is gonna start again next week part time, so this will help speed things up a little more. we would have been caught up by now on orders had he been able to work the last 8 weeks...

i use a Strange case to do the housing end installation with a line-up bar. every one of these rearends has this center section installed before it is finished. the top and bottom hole of the Strange aluminum cases are a slightly smaller diameter than the rest. feel free to ream it out to the same size as the other holes(13/32) to help the install.
this is a normal thing for new 9 inch housings... i have had Moser, Strange, Alston, Mittler Bros., RJ(quartermax), and Competition Eng. housings in my hands over the years and there was not one of them that the center section just slipped in with no effort. you normally have to install a nut onto the stud(s) and lightly tap it one direction or another to get them to line up just right. even then a mallet or small pilot drift is usually needed to help get it started over the studs. no gaskets are used on any of my housings either... just use silicone sealer. i prefer the Permatex ultra copper or ultra black types.

Well, I made the drive up to Eric's shop on Weds morning to pick my rear up. WOW is all I can say!!!!!! Well worth the wait, I can't say this enough. The quality, welds and Eric's customer service is top notch. I looked my rear over with a fine tooth and comb and couldn't find one thing wrong with it.

To all the guys still waiting, just be patient is all I can say. You'll understand when you get your own!

Eric, was nice to finally meet you and check out the shop! Keep me in mind about the stuff that we were talking about!!!!

I'll post some pics up of my set-up once my camera is charged!!!!

Well still no pictures this week. Talked to eric right before leaving to go down there, and there were/are issues with the powder coat.

I wasn't happy, But Eric tried everything in his power to get it done. He promises me next week.

Rear end is in and clearance is great. Its very close, but bump stops bottom out the rear before it hits the tunnel. Thanks Eric! Top quality product for sure and well worth the wait.
