LS1 Vs 03/04 Cobra ok so the talk of witch car is better got me thinking. what if gm never stoped making f-bodies. would they have an FI option today? also better to get f-body and supercharge or just get a cobra and do 2-3k worth of mods before you get hostile i dont like one better then the other ive had both?

No I doubt the FBody would be FI, because the Corvette in production isn't FI and traditionally the FBody has had the same engine.
Is it better to get an FBody and supercharge it or just get a Cobra and add money?

I would get the Terminator. The stock internals can take more hp than you can use on the street and fuel/SC is the only thing limiting it besides the IRS, which can be fixed easier than the 7.5 in a camaro. The cobra also has better attention to fit/finish and is overall, a more refined vehicle (no waiting for piston slap to go away in the morning, ect). I love my WS.6, but I would have rathered Terminator. Just calling it like I see it. Oh, Terminators are more "exclusive" (if you can use that term on a under 40K car...)

Id rather go with the Fbody because of looks. I personally think a camaro has more potental to look better than a Mustang. Id just Twin turbo my SS and then a cobra is just another Ford. Not saying Cobras suck. Id woudnt mind having one parked right next to the SS in the garage, I just love the fact that a Camaro is a poor mans Vette and any real hot rodder knows to pay respect to a vette.

The Cobra is better made, the SS looks better. I still vote terminator. I have never heard of a LS1 making 990rwhp with fully stock internals. I have heard of a Cobra doing it (there was a writeup in MMFF I belive). I dunno, I just like the terminators. I love my WS.6 though

I just got rid of my 03 Cobra for my Z.. if that says anything.. lol I kinda miss my 03, but the Z is a lot cheaper and I have more money for mods..

yea, in all my years in dealing with cars ive come to 1 conclusion, and that is that ANYTHING can be made fast with enough money, even a honda 
and that EVERYONE has DIFFERENT tastes, and people are going to get what they want for a majority of different reasons. I like the way my camaro drives and feels opposed to a Cobra so thats why I drive a Camaro others feel different and drive a Cobra, others are just stupid and mod hondas

both are sweet cars no doubt, but i would have to go with the cobra man i love the sound of that eaton screaming. Base power is like 370 rwhp ( i know they claim 390 at the motor but that is so underated) and if you throw on a pulley catback intake and port the supercharger you could easily be looking at 500 rwhp !!!!! But then again the ls1 is pure raw old school n/a muscle.... any questions??
