I was just wondering, what Oil & Oil Filter you guy's are using?

I just bought the oil, which i normally just get Pennzoil because my father would alway's get that. So i just stuck with it, and a Fram Oil Filter. Just yesterday though, i gotta Mobil1 Filter for half price. I was gonna get the Bosch Filter, but they didnt have any even though the computer listed 2 in stock. So the guy just went ahead and gave me a Mobil1 Filter for half price.

Im thinking of going with the Mobil1 Filter from now on, but which Motor Oil would be good to go with???

I use Amsoil 5-40W, K&N Oil Filter P/N# 2006. I can`t say its the best, but its what I use.

currently using german castrol 0-30w with a k&n oil filter

changing to amsoil 5-30w and wix oil filter..... next oil change

stay away from penn. POS imo i used 530 mobile with a wix filter but now using mobile racing 030 with the wix filter

Penzoil is garbage! i tried it once, and never again. the oil came out the blackest its ever had in my car, and when i had it in my car it gave me lower oil psi. i went back to mobile. i like it and dont have problems. im running 0-30 the racing synthetic that they have. it says racing on it and has like cherkd flag background. it claims to not break down as much under heat, and is recomended for high performance NA, Boosted, or other high performance applications... id recomend that one. and im using a wix oil filter..

i just have a regular fram filter the one with the grip tape like stuff around the edge so its easy to remove. been using mobil 1 5w30 but thinking bout changing since everyone says its not a 100% synthetic now. gonna try royal purple. never use amsoil again i used it in my gsx and the lifters tapped and it lowered my oil psi.plus if u have any type of small oil leak that amsoil will find it.

yeah worst oil i ever tried definately not worth what i paid for it. drained it out after a month and put mobil 1 back in

im using the fram tough guard with TRT filter! its ok, served me well for 3 oil changes! i use it with 5w30 Mobil 1 oil! but my oil gets black as **** in the first 1300 miles!! i dont know if thats normal!

i used pen for a few months, it gave me low oil pressure and i'm sure it accelerated the wear in the engine. i use full synthetic german formula castrol 0w30 and a napa gold (wix) filter. i would suggest not using fram, i've heard they fall apart on occasion lol.
