That's ridiculous. It must be "universal" which means it fits NOTHING!!!

With roughly 60 more lbs of torque and the new clutch you might have to re-learn how to drive the "cruiser".

So what is the source of the new power? A different cam you guys are trying or the 102 mm FAST intake with your portwork, or combo of all mentioned? Sorry, I've missed about a page or so of updates.

Kevin the power is looking better everytime !!

Port matched FAST 102,we still have more work to do internally,we just wanted to get a baseline. We put on the big tb but didn't have a tube on it to straighten the air out,so the big tb only gained a couple of hp so far. After we get the tube on it as well as a couple more mods to the intake,we should be right at 650hp and 600ft lbs tq.

And they say the FAST isn't worth anything

The FAST actually working on Kevin's new engine isn't a surprise. The LS7 FAST worked on the LS7. Apparently the LS3 style FAST intakes like big cubes too.

So much for "gentle cruiser", instead of a double malt scotch it will be more like a shot and a beer with a moonshine chaser.

That's just stupid knowing the size of the cam. So 575RW and infinitely drivable.

Hey Shawn,

What RPM are you pulling now with the new cam and the FAST? Where does it peak?

Thanks,

Kevin

the intake has raised the peak some, right around 6200 right now.I think once we get everything ironed out it should be around 6400-6500.

speaking of the cam,we had it idling around 500rpm today.
