Those bolts are a PITA. Nook & Tranny had the complete pipe/bolt assemblies for a while. Did you try them yet? They might still have the bolts...

I ordered a pair last summer and they were about $35.00 special order through my local chevy dealer. If you have the part #s (not at home right now) go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and plug them in. Otherwise, I'll hit you up in an hour and let you know if they have them (if I can tell). I think they'll say if they're on back order when you add to cart. Did that when I tried to get the LT4 KM from them...

Part # is 12552974 "BOLT SCREW ENG COO"

I got them from (IIRC)

http://www.newgmparts.com/partlocato...?siteid=213815

Called the toll free number... I have an invoice that is from:

Vintage Parts Warehouse
1005 Green Valley Rd.
Beaver Dam, WI 53916
877-846-8243

I think they sourced them from a chevy dealer in Whitman, MA:

McLaughlin Chev, Inc.
741 Temple St
Whitman, MA 02382-1041

LOL your going to hate me but I ordered 2 of these last week. They told me they were discontinued but they had a set that was not in the computer as being in stock but the guy had seen them in the parts rack a few days earlier. I had no idea it was this bad. I know the power steering pulley is also discontinued there were 2 left in the country yesterday but 1 place closed and another was a false in stock report. Lots of these parts are going to be going by by in the next year so if you need something you may need to pick them up soon as parts ****’s are going to be buying up the good ****.

Make your own crossover setup from Home Depot with a few dollars.

It is a very simple part of the cooling loop.

^^ I was thinking over what you'd need to do this last night... a short piece of brake line the right size/ diameter, maybe. Brass fittings and copper tube, even... I'm gonna do a write-up if I can figure out a way to do it cheap...

I think maybe a male/male threaded fitting in the back of each head, then a compression collar onto those to hold the line. This will give you a quick disconnect when removing the heads...

I just used some NPT plumbing fittings, "Great White" thread sealant, and some high pressure/high heat hose. It worked great, and all you saw was the thin black hose running along the passenger side of the manifold down to the rad.

It was like 20 bucks for everything, and I daily drove it like that for almost 2 years .

Its been like three years so I don't remember the exact part, I just went to the plumbing section in home depot .

I think I posted a reply to a thread like this before though, and posted some pictures. It might have been another forum, but I'll try to find it.

Here ya go

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...tube-back.html

90* elbow on the drivers side head, "T" fitting on the passenger, then ran a high pressure/high heat host from the drivers head to the "T", and from the other side of the "T" to the normal spot it goes to on the radiator.
