Mom and Dad got me the MGW shifter for my 02 Z28 for X-Mas. Looking to do the install early next week. I cant wait.

Ill get a better video in the day light tomorrow and upload it for you folks.

Driving it everyday is a simple pleasure. Much much much better than stock and is actually fun to shift.

Yes the hole hangs over the trans mounting causeing a potianal leak the silicone is the improvement they have done to the shifter.

could you use a base for an F-Body, but a stick from a Mustang?

More than likely yes. They offer 2 stick sizes. 12mm like the Mustang and 16mm like in the f-body. You have to make sure that you let them know which one you want when you order otherwise they will just assume the 12mm I think. Hope this helps.

The sticks are the exact same except for the thread size. Thats the only difference in the two sticks so why would you want to use the Mustang one unless you have a shifter ball that fits on 12MM threads.

I am pretty happy with my B&M Ripper but this is definatly worth a thought.

After reading this post I am thinking on purchasing one next week, gotta wait on the ole pay check. I have heard from 1 other person at my job that have this shifter is freaking saweeetttt!! Unfourtunately he has a mustang LOL!

i gotta get this thing... Tax Rebate... the car gets new shifter/suspension/heads/cam/new exhaust.

Ill try to get a video of me actually running the car but lets not hold our breath.

Yes, it was on. Magnaflow is quiet at idle and loud at WOT. Just how I like it.

I have no idea snyper. Would be best for you to call MGW and see if they have anything in the works for the GTO.
