im going with a stg.4 spec. you need either a stage 4 or 5 spec or a 910 ram works really well also both are great clutches

I have the spec stg 3 and it is great at my power level. I have felt the stg 4 and was no harder then the 3, I have left at 6000 rpms lots of times and still holding strong

I have the Ram 980 and the pedal is hard as hell however they say I can't tear it up. I also have the upgraded slave and master so that may be why it is hard. I was going to change it out but I am having Texas Speed throw me a 396 together so I decided to keep it.

I have a Spec Stage 2 with over a 1000 miles on it that shutters like hell from a normal everyday dead stop start. Is everyone else experiencing this problem?

As long as the SPEC is broke in properly it will have zero chatter. They are a great clutch have used many of them.

This is my first Spec clutch. Why would it still be chattering w/1000 miles, which is even longer than Spec told me it would chatter?

My spec stg 3 chattered for 25000 miles until I replaced it. NOT an everyday driver clutch IMO. It was in the car when I bought it, so maybe it wasnt broken in properly, but it still sucked a$$ driving normal. I never felt it slip though...

I wonder if I can machine the disk a little and get rid of the chatter, or just suck it up and buy a Ram or other clutch?

I'd rather go back to a stock disk than put up with this chatter.
