I didn't do much racing this year at all...busy with a new house. I only went to Eddyville one time with the car, I'd rather 1/4 mile it.
I went to Cordova on Saturday, here is my post about it...

For anyone who cares, here is an update as of the night of 11.3.08 of jacob's Iroc. Spent countless hours getting rear quarters straight, finished all the priming, and finally got some in color.
The first pic is the new battery tray installed.
the second pic is trying to get the rear quarters straight.
third pic is the car finally all in primer
fourth pic is coat number 2 of Electron Blue.
Fifth pic is Jacob standing next to all of his junk drinking some assorted beer.

I didn't see you at Eddyville this year Unstang! Kook (Aaron) and I just finished putting methanol injection into the car and got tuned in Cedar Rapids. If any Ames guys wanna go mess around somewhere this week I'm game. Need to get my fun in before she gets put away for winter.
Odds are I'll be putting the car away for winter storage this weekend.

I'll try and get the car out tonight...

Oh I'm not too fast, not every supra has a bugillion horsepower. I got dyno'd this past weekend and put down 455 with a built automatic. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out my methanol kit otherwise I would've probably been in the 500 range somewhere. Once I graduate this spring she'll have a lot more done. You're sadly one of the two red cobras in Ames that I have a domestic fetish for. Always wanted to get my hands on an 03-04 cobra, but I like my 90 dollar monthly insurance haha

Right now the car is pushing a right under 5 mark, but with my 4.10's and 5 speed I really do not have much speed at the end of 4th gear. I'll be switching those for something around a 3.55 or 3.73. If you do go out, just send me a pm and perhaps we could meet up and shoot the sh$t.
The other red one if we are thinking of the same one (big hood, 03/04 front and rear bumper) is acutally an '01. Great guy, but I spoke with a long time ago and he said the car was around 400 rwhp which is impossible on those 4.6 N/A motors. He just had the basic bolt - on's (no FI or spray) and to reach that power level would require some BIG time work.
If you ever do ge one, I'd almost recommend starting out with a '99. They have the stronger Teksid block and can be found rather cheaply. Build up from there and in the end you probably would have something faster than 03/04's.
Sorry for the long post guys!
