Did anyone here get the latest summit racing catalog? I was looking through a buddies at work and it advertised 10% off all summit racing products. I was interested in the summit stars drag wheels. I was wondering if the price on the internet is the same price as in the catalog as I don't remember what the catalog had for a price. The internet site doesn't specify them being on sale either. Thanks for any info.

Thank you very much! I figured it was the sale price as they were pretty darn cheap.
For those that don't know and are looking for some front runners. Summit has the greg wheels for $99.50 a piece! Damn good price but make sure you get their lugnuts too. They bolt up without grinding the front calipers. Problem is the rears do not fit our cars at all. So summit stars or prostar rears are needed. Search greg wheels and you should see the big post about it.

Well just put on a FAST 92/92 set up. Working on installing a direct port nitrous kit for that. I still have a ways to go on it. We need to get out to MAM sometime and run these cars. I haven't been out there for quite a while.

Damn! I need one of those intakes and TB. Are you still rockin the stock heads and cam?? I need to get a rear end bought for the strip. I guess I can stick with street tires and be alright but it's not very fun cutting 2.1 60' times.

Yeah, stock heads and cam for now. I keep looking for a good 9 inch to buy, but something about going faster just sounds better. But I decided that once it blows, I will just break down and buy one. Yeah my 60' times blow as well.

Just a "Hello" from a fellow Iowan. I live in Southeastern Iowa, in the small town of North English. I have the car in my signature. Have a friend who is sporting a 98 Z28, and my bro has his 02 35th Anniversary SS that he purchased new from Hargrave-McEleney in IC in Feb of 2002. Anybody know of a good tuner in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids area? Installing LT's on all three over the winter and would like to lose the SES light and shut off the rear O2's. I normally read an entire thread before I post a question, but there are 134 ******* pages to this thing, so forgive me if my question is a duplicate.

That was my thoughts too when I went H/C, MORE POWER! I quickly realized I should have got a rearend that will handle abuse first. Cuz now I'm only as fast as a bolt on car with slicks. I got the money for one but just scared to death to spend it right now. I got this itch for a vette too.....
Mumbles- Welcome aboard. I unfortunately can't help with info for your area. I know a few have gone to Speed Inc. over by chicago for parts and tuning needs. If it's just for the SES code someone here may be able to help ya out. I have HPtuners and could tune it out but would have to burn up $100 in credits for each vehicle. Or there's o2 simulators that plug right in and eliminate the SES light. I had a couple laying around somewhere. They run like $30 bucks.

Thank you for the reply. We haven't completed installing the headers yet, plus I have a code reader to know what code it may be tripping, so I'd say thats not an issue. Can I ask what you spent for HP Tuners? I've been to their site a couple times just looking and I am semi-interested in purchasing it. I know there would definitely be some learning to do, but would you say its worth what you spent? Thanks. Hope I didn't hijack this thread. =-)
