Ive ran a slow 12.90 at 110. But with the new setup, it should be in the 11's on a weak sauce launch.

 

Anyone have any ideas where I can get a box to ship my hood!! I have called just about all body shops in DSM and can't find squat. If I do find a hood box it's for a Saturn or Suzuki and it's to small. I have my hood sold to someone in Tenn and I need to get it shipped, I am desperate!!!!

hey, check an appliance store. I bet it would fit in a washer or dryer box, and you can just cut the sides down .

I've gone 10.98 on the stock bottom end and heads with a LT1. I plan on trying to go low nines on one stage and 8.90's this year with two stages. So my car is under a complete turn around this year. Sold everything but the motor so far from last year. I'm having a chromoly cage and fabbed rearend put in it now. Hope to get it back and start getting it ready for the new motor.


I pay just over $200 for a 60lb tank of nitrous thru airgas.

Yeah I had a little road trip on Friday to Chicago to get that hood. It was a steal for that OEM SS hood even with the drive. I ended up making a box for that Ultra Z hood of mine, turned out really good and got it shipped out today. Next is a SS grill, I can't seem to find any for sale. Looks like I am going to have to spend a bunch and buy a new one from SLP.
