I personally don't care for Papa Johns pizza (much prefer Pizza Hut), but I gotta say its a sweet giveaway for Camaro owners...

Speaking of sweet things for Camaro owners, anyone happen to see the latest GMHTP magazine? Perhaps looking in the Street Heat section?
Ya I don't care either much for Papa John's, but I'm not going to pass up a free pizza and a free meal. I prefer Pizza Hut too or Little Caesar's.

beast- our chevelle ran better, not perfect but better. We don't have anymore ignition problem, just need to do a little tweaking with the carbs and the timing. We ran a 6.42 to start, then made a 6.16 and 6.17. pulls hard. should run in 5.90's area when we get it tuned in. hope that oil pan works just fine.

Thanks to Nick for coming over to help with the car and JPH for answering our panic text about initial prime oil pressure.

We quit being pussies and fired the car up, and it instantly shot to 80 psi (cold idle). I guess that will do... FWIW, it's running fresh 15w40 Rotella. I've got a few things to figure out (my gauges aren't working) and a few things to tie up (cooling system bleed and cooling fan wiring) and it should be ready to roll.

Looks like weather is crap this weekend (J-Rod, you were right), but it'll be out as soon as we get some nice weather. 3200 RPM rev limiter for the rest of the season most likely though, gotta break in that new engine.

I did wish I had a Camaro today though, Papa Johns is my favorite (I like their sauce).

Ben, are you in GMHTP? My subscription just lapsed and I've not gotten around to renewing it (had other priorities). I'll have to go pick up a copy at the bookstore tomorrow.

Yeah it should be pretty much bullet proof in a car as light as mine, plus turbos are a lot nicer to rears compared to say a Whipple on a Cobra

Sweet man, glad to hear it!!! And thanks again for helping me out with the pan, I appreciate it. If anybody needs some welding/fab work done, hit this guy up.

Blake, glad to hear you got it up and running. Now go do some laps around 469 to break it in so we can do some roll racing LOL. Can't be going from a dig, might snap another axle.

No dig racing from me anyway. My rear axle is weaker than a 10 bolt, and I don't have any SDB mojo to keep it alive.

Didn't know this was only a F-Body/Camaro Forum?? Thought is was LS1 Tech. I know my car doesn't have an LS1 but neither does your camaro (LT1)? or did they change the name to F-Body/ Camaro Tech?? I'm confused and my head hurts now?

I think his truck has a 5.3L and the boosted T/A I would assume still has a LSx in it I could be wrong though.

Thanks Blake! I'm happy, but at the same time a little dissapointed it didn't get a feature done on it. I know its an LT1 car, but there are much lesser cars than mine to make the cover, much much lesser cars to get featured. I am happy none the less though

Put me on the fender roller list, too.
