Nice pic Ben!

I've been where I am for 5 years, worked my job before that for 5 years and the one before that for 5 years... looks like it's about time for something new.

Thanks, I've been messing with some HDR stuff. It's pretty complex, and takes multiple pictures of the same photo with different appetture settings, but they turn out pretty sweet.

What exposure settings are you using? Some people go overboard when they do HDR that is starts to look way to fake. Also, what program are you using?

I couldn't even tell you. It was one of a few pics I took that I took multiple different shots with different appeture settings. The program takes them and then lets you edit all of them within one.

You can make them look fake and they look really sweet, or you can keep it relatively tame and still have some unbelievable effects.

There are a multitude of different HDR programs available. I am using essential HDR community.

Those pictures are badass. I need some more locations to shoot my cars. So far all I have that is any good is the old Wayne Pump factory and the abandoned supply depot next to the tracks by GE.

Anyone else know any good local(ish) spots? I have a decent camera, though I need some more glass.

HDR's best program to use = Photomatix, and the best way to do it is bracketed shots by using 1 correctly exposed shot, 1 aperture stop overexposed, 1 aperture stop underexposed then combine them all.

new 5.0 has 11/1 compression. kinda limits you on the #'s of boost. Probably not the best bang for the buck. Sounds like the engineers worked pretty hard on this motor to pull 412hp from the factory. Probably only 40hp left on the table for bolt ons and tune. That would make it a 440-450 na hp motor.... 375-400 rwhp? I'm sure it will love spray though. Plastic composite intake looks simiar to LSX's.
I'm thinking that Fords new 6.2 will be pretty kick ***.

I'm liking the new head style on them as well. stock bottom end motor made a 3800lb car run 8.5x
Also the heads are flowing 350cfm @.600'' factory stock. Ported factory are 390cfm@.600'' with the ability to run 0.750'' lift.

Did not think the compression was that high.....on tv they were saying 9.3/4.1 ...that there at 11 will take the blower out of the equation....also they said 420 hp not 412....my nephew who sells them said 420 also...they are supposed to have a mach 1 package come out with flat black hood and luvers on rear and old style rear spoiler...thats what i am wanting....white with the blackout package....and some sweet rims to pull it all together....the inside of the mustang is soooooo much nicer than the cameros....gm i feel has missed the boat again on that car...but the vert is not out yet and i may change my mind once i see a ss vert...

Kenny, if you're serious about going back to a Ford, what about a GT500 or GT500KR or a Super Snake? The new 2010 GT500s look pretty bad *** for a Mustang.

I have a whole new respect for those cars after that blue KR *DESTROYED* me on the bike on the way to Liberty after Bodigan's last year.

They are releasing the GT350s here in the next year too. Just read in Motor Trend that the compression on the new Coyote is around 11:1. Adding the blower is cutting it a little high for my likes.

BEAVER...I agree the 2005+ mustang, especially the 2010 is a mch better lookng car thatn the new Camaro. I keep seeing the Camaro's at Kelly's and they look like fuckng tanks...not impressed with them at all....2010 Mustang GT with some mods would be a great car very good looking and clean...and yes, way better interior.

I have been ******* with a guy here...

go there and make fun of him some more....
