I"m draggin my heap down and racing in the shootout. Im glad its alot closer this year, I went to St. Louis last year and it was a haul. Its not gonna get any closer than this, hell its in our backyard, I hope to see all u guys out there in the staging lanes.

Group of us going down Thurs and staying all weekend. Comfort Suites in Brownsburg. Nobody's racing, but several in the car show, I think. Weather's looking great -- 70, or so, and sunny all 4 days.

CALLING ALL FW MOTORSPORTS SUPPORTORS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have decided to have a cruise in to help show support for the motorsports park here in Fort Wayne. Join us this Sunday the 9th from 1-4pm at the New Quaker Steak and Lube off Colosieum Blvd . Live DJ and we will be using the Sears mall parking Lot for all spectators and overflow parking. Bring you ride. Also following the crusise in there is another car show at Liberty Diner off Goshon Rd from 5:30 to 7:30 . This is the last one of the season. Hope to see all of you there

...the way the post read it was sounding like it was a current structure.
I honestly would be VERY happy to see this done, but it seems our city is too busy building $125,000-$140,000 BRAND NEW homes for low income housing...66 units in renaissance square project...$11 million spent....66 new homes, all new street lights, new streets, new sewer system...rented for $485/month then after 15 years they can buy them for 1/2 price. So nice for people who make bad choices, have a bunch of kids from different daddy's, dont work....they get brand new 2000+sq ft homes with new appliances for free...because if they qualify, the cost is $485, which will be covered by HUD.
With the $11 million allready spent on that project, I doubt they will have the budget for a race track. Good luck though, it would be very cool to see it if it gets done!
