How do you figure out orifice size?

i pretty sure its in thousandths of an inch ex. 93 jet would be .093 inches a 3/16th orifice is huge..... bigger than most solenoid orifices.... maybe 3/32

Fbody i have a question for you. So i put the -6 line on my car (16') and im on a 88n and a 44f. Right now the car is still going rich, its around 10.1 afr. Any ideas? Is the -6 flowing enough being this long? Or should i just put a smaller fuel jet in it?

It isn't the line, a 4 would of been fine in the first place. What solenoid? and how big is the line from solenoid to plate?

That's kinda the impression I was under.

What does the AFR look like on motor alone at WOT?

He said it's -4 from the solenoid to the plate on both N2O and Fuel in your thread Cam.

Wouldn't that mean he isn't really spraying a 200 shot also?

Just stirring the pot

I would get it to 13.0-13.3 on motor and then spray it with the current jetting and see how much it leans out.

You're having problems elsewhere. Did you hook the purge up?

Any nitrous leaks? Is the nitrous even coming on? Can you make a pass, shut it down and take a picture of the plugs for us to inspect to ensure that you're really seeing 10.1 afr? Just a highway run will do.

Cam has a screwy afr gauge and it tells him his is 10:1 and it's far from that.

yeah a 3/16" orifice is .187....... thats like 13xxhp shot LOL!
a 3/32 is .09375 which is still 330ish hp I believe. These are just rough estimates but I'm sure 3/16th is deffinately NOT the right measurment.

I dont think its my gauge, so far it has been dead on. before i put the c16 in my car was 12.8-13.0, it seems to be a bit richer on the c16. And the only problem with getting it to 13.0-13.2 on motor is it dont have the ability to tune it.

I do not have any leaks, i checked everything over when i swapped the line, the nitrous is definitely coming on. it hits hard and pulls hard and it doesnt hesitate at the top of the gear like it did with the -4 line. i do have the purge hooked up and i made sure to purge the air out before i have the pull.

Is a 88 and 44 usually rich?
