Its weird because ive been driving like this for a few months and this is the first time this happened. Do you think id be able to get away with running c16 if i switched to a 8 plug? Also do you think i could have old wires? They are about 2 years old.

How often have you changed plugs?

It could be that you loaded them up inadvertently sitting somewhere at idle for a long time or a number of other conditions.

It all depends on how clean your motor tune is, but they will eventually become fouled.

I think if you don't run more than a 250 you could get away with an 8, if you're going to run it at the track though put a 9 in it.

Ok. Thanks for the help man. I change my plugs every month. But the last set of plugs lasted me just over 2 months and then one day when i sprayed the car it broke up. So i changed the plugs and it was ok for a couple passes but now its breaking up again, even on motor. The car drives fine and doesnt misfire but when you got WOT it will break up a slight bit. What gap should i gap my plugs at? I have them gapped to .030 right now.

Could i have another problem other than the plugs getting fouled?

Just waiting on the last item I have coming as it was the only piece that had to be built after I ordered it. It should be here next week and I'm hoping I'll be out at the track the following weekend.

I am really excited to see how it runs.

You and me both buddy.

You've been there and seen it first hand the struggles I've gone through with the set-up.

I will probably be ridiculed by some, but I hope that the majority can see I am not out to prove anyone wrong or down anyone, I just want my car to move forward in progress.

I now will be using a dual stage 92mm plate set-up by NX. I will be using their entire system from plate, to lightning solenoids(bad *** solenoids btw), their custom solenoid brackets that mount to the throttle body bolts, -6 feed line, and their high flow .500 orifice DF5 valve.

Going to work my way up to a 300 shot with 200 off the trans brake release and 100 brought in on a digiset timer as quickly as I can possibly get it in. I really think this will allow me to get the amount of nitrous flowing that I was looking for before.

I don't want to start a "this product is better than that product war" I just will let the results speak for themselves. Of course you can ask questions I don't mind answering them. I've spent a good deal of time with NX so far now, and I will say that their customer service is just as good as N20 outlet(which is superb BTW) and they are another top notch of the rung company to deal with. They have been MORE than generous by sponsoring me in my new fledgling racing program I'm building now and I couldn't ask for better support.

I am building a 408 stroker for the car with around 13.5:1-14:1 compression, and either All Pro 15* Hurricane cathedral port heads or AFR 245 cathedral port heads with a big solid roller cam and either an PI/Mast intake or a heavily ported Super Victor, 4150 TB, and a 2"-3" spacer for added plenum volume. I'm looking to run up front in RS275 at the end of this season and the coming season and also be able to run in Ultimate Street and SR275 with weight taken out to compete. I will be running a Powerglide with a 1.80 gear set, FTI 9" converter (Lenny at UCC will be tweaking it to work with the bigger more powerful motor so I don't have to send it to Fl. as Lenny is in NC) and a 3.73 rear gear to keep it loaded and where the nitrous wants it, and to make it manageable off the line as RS275 doesn't allow a progressive.

I'll mainly be running a 82 jet in RS275 as I am restricted to that jet, but in Ult. and SR275 I will be pulling the .104 or .110 jets out to give it to the Ford boys I can't wait to at least get the car back out on the track with the newly re-valved Mark Menscer Afco shocks and get this car not pointed towards the sky all the time and really let her fly.
