I have no clue where it happened, but I do not think it is local.

Sitting here stewing on that 11 pound battery that modular turbo here offers. Not sure if the 20 pounds of weight savings is worth the $100 or not, cheaper than re-locating the battery, that's for sure.

Summit sells a battery relocation kit for around a hundred bucks, maybe a little more. If you street drive the car alot, I wouldn't depend on a lightweight battery that's for sure. The lightweight battery isn't gonna have the cranking amps, or the capacity to store much energy and will tax your alternator quite hard. Gotta remember, our cars demand quite a bit more electrical current than an old 67 nova or something. All the fuel injection, windows, locks, fuel pump, cooling fans etc... are all electric.

Hmm, I'll give the relocating thing another looking into. Worst thing is that I want to keep my stock battery if I do, can't afford a dry cell, so I would need an nhra approved sealed box. And a cut-off switch. Good thing is that I never turn the radio on, and my camaro is a factory no-option hubcap mobile (manual seats, windows, etc.)

I'm gonna be there on the 5th too, hopefully. Hoping to see what this thing can do with the slicks, boxed LCA's, and my new spohn torque arm.

I want to get as deep in the 13's NA as I can with the lil teal veesix rasp mobile, and if we ever get the stang back together (found metal in the oil pan), 9's. But we've got some problems with it right now, torque converter was basically pressed into the crank, took hours to get it off, found pieces of metal in the pan, so we have some work to do. Also waiting on the windage tray and moly upr k-member/a-arms and coils overs. Still needs exhaust, tires, and a smaller starter. But the Camaro is ready to rock and roll.

You should've been there when I trashed one of the V8 stangs, guy had an oversized ego. He came over to me after the race while I was checking out the scan from the pass, and asked why the exhaust sounded funny. "It's a 231 six banger, it's just raspy" "V6? How much nos you running?" "No baby bottle, just a cam and some heads I ported myself" "What?" and he left It's slow for a Camaro, but it's quick for a six banger, and quick enough to catch a few people off guard.

Really gonna give them a shock when I start blowing air in that little engine

Nice!! Spohn tunnel mount eh. I've got the same one except mine is for long tube headers and big y-pipe so the tunnel mount drops down for more clearance.

I just noticed today that BMR is having a two day Presidents sale,,,, 25% off any BMR product. Joe, you hearing this,,,, 25% off lol... Weren't you saying you're in the market for a torque arm?

I got this one from Byun Speed for $390 shipped, it was on sale, and free shipping. Can't wait to mount it on the car, I laughed when I saw the free angle finder is exactly the same as my $2 harbor freight one Only thing I don't like about it so far is the weight, this thing ain't light by any means, that's for sure. Wish I could've afforded the moly one, oh well.
