I would like to go, even though my car is all stock still. I dont care as much about time as just having fun. I wanna go one of these days, either PIR and/or Woodburn. I have a few friends with F-Bodies that I am trying to talk into going too we will see. Whenever you guys are planning on going post it up so I know; I was out of town this weekend and wasn't able to go. Hopefully one of these days my schedule will work and I can meet some of you guys.

And nice work on the PB

Just got home from a ski trip at Whitepass. Had an awesome time, say for some bruised ribs resulting from an epic fall that I took. I want to get up to meadows soon, forgot how much I like to ski, it's been about 2-3 years since I did it last.

Oh you mean the time I had Miller's fat *** in the passenger seat and you got the jump on me and then I started creeping up @ 115mph?

I was just making a joke about "getting it in the big end"

Hey looks like you guys had a good time at PIR!!! Wish I was there. Good job to Joe on his PB.

Phill. Bro in stead of just tapping the throttle when the light turns green, why don't you just hold the RPMs at like 2Gs and earhier put it to the floor, or if it starts to spin alittle keep it where it's at intell it hooks? Cause I think that's why u spun coming out of the hole. Just my 2cents.

I ran into a guy that has a Mazda RX-7 the other day. I herd him go by and said " you got to be kidding!!!!!" I flag him down and found out he put a LS1 in it!!! It's cammed and he put down 385whp! Hopfully I'll see him again and we all could go to the track or when we do the cruise to the lake.

Cool pics man. That one on the far left looks like it could have been a cover shot for a magazine or something.

That's a pretty common swap as far as engine swaps go. I think there are a couple RX7 conversions running around this area, and a handful of them up north in Seattle as well.

I thought about doing one of those about 5 years ago, but I test drove an RX7 (FD model) and it was cramped and very uncomfortable. The fit and finish was awful and it rattled like a box of Lego's. Basically they look cool as hell on the outside, but I couldn't stand driving one.

Oh I'm not doubting it's nerve racking when u get up..lol.. And yes I do understand it takes some time getting use to. I'll try to get up there soon. I'm going to go to woodburn first so if I break anything I'll be somewhat close to home.

Made some more progress with the car the last couple days. Got the narrowed rearend installed/mocked-up. It still needs some work/fabrication but it's back on the ground and rolling around with the 28" tires and the Weld Draglite wheels now.
