I am assuming the LS3 top end will not work on an LS1 due to the bore?

Correct, it needs to be at least 4" bore.

What would you guys think an LQ4 bottom end with LS3 heads and intake make (ballpark)? Would the lower compression be a big problem with the larger heads? I know on the original small block if you put too big of a head on a motor it'd be a mess in the bottom end and no fun to drive...not sure about these LS motors though.

Look up an LY6, it would basically be the same. Most of them are rated at 364 hp and are stuck in trucks. Bob

If I was wealthy, I'd do that for the NW!

As it is, the credit card company makes more money off my sales than I do. Bob

Maybe we can get a package deal on 2 of them. Our Birds would be forces to recon with.

That LTD was awesome. Straight up the coolest sleeper I have ever seen even down to the wire wheels with slicks.

Surprised it wasn't a cop fest. Hope our scene isn't lame this year. Sure like to have a twin turbo, need deep pockets for the forged rebuild and rearend.

If I had an F-bod I would be more inclined to do a big single with a bit of spray on top. The hot pipe kits are relatively cheap.

Thanks buddy. No on the 315's. Don't wanna go that wide nor pay the price tag. I went with 295/35/18. They are a decent amount wider over my 275's and IMO look just right.
