I Won't Make It This Week But Maybe Next Week. My PCM Won't Be Here Until Monday. We Will Look For You When We Do Go. Might Need Some Pointers As We Are Both Veteran Spectators And Novice Racers.

My husband got the poly mounts in and the PCM back yesterday. He says the car is too loud but I think it is almost loud enough, I'm thinking Polluter cam to finish it off....:-)

If rain goes away we might make it to the track!

Go with a cam from EPS or AI. The polluter cam has ran it's course. Much better options on the market these days.

Do either of those have a good lope? It's a daily driven car and I want the muscle car sound.

That depends on what cam specs you go with. What are your goals with the car? What is your current exhaust set up? I'm running a EPS 226/230 cam on a 114LSA through a 3" Magnaflow catback w/ a DHM electric cutout. Sounds amazing....kinda like popcorn Great DD cam with awesome power/torque throughout the entire RPM range.

My husband said that if I wanted to make it faster I had to learn what the parts are called so I try. Still have to ask him the names of the parts most of the time but I've always been into cars.

Speed engineering LT's & Y-pipe, SLP Loudmouth, SLP lid and mail order tune by LSX power. I tried to put all of that in my signature but it didn't stick. The exhaust is very loud yet missing the rough idle. If I had to choose a number I would go with what my husband suggests and not go for peak power but have something like 400whp thru the power range. On a side note I love torque!

If your husband is recommending you putting the polluter cam in, he's been out of the game for a while. Either that or he's clueless. That cam is garbage in todays standards. It's good for making power in the upper end and for making noise. That's about it. Your drivability will suffer around town.

I don't think PIR has ever been as good as Woodburn on a general basis. But if you need to go to PIR, wait until its warmer and go on a Friday night. The surface will still be decent from the big tire cars that run 1/8 mile on Weds nights as long as it hasn't rained between Weds and Friday.
