Hoping to get some air under there before summers end. The sun wasn't too bad actually. I was more concerned with that head wind lol...

I can't take the credit for the pics. I got them off of PIR's website lol...

Eric wasn't running the bottle on Friday, but if he was, it would have been a very close race. As it turns out, he was running 12.7x's all night.

I don't know which gears Eric is running, but he does have a 9" installed. I'm not sure when I'll be heading out again. I need to call PIR and see when they'll let me return. My next time out will just be trying different launch techniques since I'm not compliant with NHRA requirements (ie: no rollbar).

Chris, yes I think that was a Skylark. I was parked next a really nice blue 69 Chevelle that was making me drool too. So what kind of springs were they?

I like PIR , you get a lot of cool cars there but Woodburn seems more friendlier, I think they would warn you and few times before a ban.

Those are some PAC beehives 1255's, was a quick drive by shooting of a post..LOL sorry for that.

Here is a few more:

been sweating here this week:

Hey someone messed up putting the rockers on, they're all crooked

Money got tight so we had to de-stroke an LS2

Hey Guys. Had a good time Friday night running with Mike. That's one mean car. I'm running 3.70s with a moser 9in. I'm pretty happy the times it runs. I managed to squeak out a 12.68 at almost 110 which is a new motor best. My buddy finally hit 11.90s with his juiced LT1. He'd been stuck at 12.0s for the longest time. All in all not a bad night. I did get kicked out though for noise, no surprise there. Anyway, hope to do it again sometime soon and maybe see some more of you guys there.

Somewhat serious. I just planned on going to the track quite a bit this year (and next year). To be NHRA legal, I need one unless I want to run slower which is not really what I want to do lol..... I believe that a 5 point rollbar is the minimum for 10.00 - 11.49 but I'll probably just get a 6 point. I had big plans for the car this coming winter, but now that I'm not working, a lot of those plans have changed.

That things angry lol.... I'll tell ya one thing for sure, a built LT1 sounds SOOO much better than any LS1 I've ever heard. I wonder how often he has to adjust the valves on that solid roller cam?
