if i had the money, id take that 502 off your hands and see if i cant wedge it in the S10. but since i cant, you should take my car off my hands. i dont know, maybe ill keep it. i do spend too much time on here (my gf will tell you that) & MW2, i should probably get a 2nd job or something

You obviously didnt read any of the comments before postin that: The guy filming, the driver next to him, the owner of the Camaro (who is also the owner and driver of the 5.0), and the driver of the Camaro for the race all have chimed in and said the Camaro is bone stock besides a whisper lid/filter. Maybe it's a conspiracy?

I'm on the list to be notified when the ford dealer next to my house gets a 5.0 in. lol I got a kid there thats a salesman who wants "me" to take a test drive in it with him. Just might happen to run across my brother driving my GTO about 1 block away. No 5.0's in yet though...

On another note: anybody else agree that the Mustang V6 sounds better than any of the other cars? (go back to 1:49 seconds) Even better than the GT and SS?? Damn thing sounds like an exotic car! Wonder what it'll do with full exhaust, tune, and cams? Sounds like a good daily driver for me since my GTO is about to become a "weekend" car (heads, cam, stall, gears).

Just looked up the purchase price for a track pac equipped V6 mustang: $27k. Guess I aint buying one for a daily driver then.

Not at all. That v6 is bad-assed. Hell a Nissan 350z and a 2v are pretty even matched.
I told you a zillion times not to exaggerate. I only mention it when it's related to the thread. I was showing just because someone won a race, it doesn't mean one car is faster than the other. Sorry if that made you go on the defense.
Right. I got my 10k 02 GT with 9k miles on it. I'm happy with it as a daily. Even if there are faster v6s out there. I certainly didn't buy a 2002 GT because I thought it was the fastest car out there. I knew what I was getting into before being bought. Couldn't pass up that price for that low of miles. I will eventually supercharge it. So *shrug*

You folks are telling me the new 5.0 is no quicker than a Mach 1? A video is a video, but I don't think this is what you ought to expect and that you'll be rubbing your asscracks after these things plumb your poopshoots.

I believe there will be stock to stockish LS1 fbodies beating 5.0 owners out there. There are just too many people out there with cars they don't know how to drive. But for the most part you are right. Not going to happen with someone that knows how to drive the car.

i cant speak for evolution, but you are exagerrating. 405rwhp full suspension and it ran 11's yes. and so does 2010 SS with the same mods. some of you are acting like kids.
a 405rwhp car ran 11's....it should
most stock 2011's are on the dyno at 365-375rwhp. if that hurts tough crap. so are 2010 ss 's.
if a driver sucks in either car he loses.
