it was a good run but ur off on a few things. my car makes 14#s not 18, its a 2.76/ 4lb lower. car made 513/508. On the second attempt i kinda hesitated a tad but not alot at all....i think with the current setups it will be a drivers race either way. but high end rolls are def. not terminator territory. it was def heatsoaked

Nice runs. hard to believe it got to 150 that fast! Some nice and quick cars you guys got there. Sure is amazing what a Cobra can do without even upgrading it's supercharger.
Side note: no cell phone video next time?

That and a 4lb lower will yield 18psi. If you have long tubes, you might drop
down to 16psi or so. How are you only making 14psi with a 2.76 upper and
a 4lb lower? Do you have a bigger than stock cube engine?
Just curious.

Put the passenger with the camera in the cobra for one race and the Z for the other. Then you can see the difference the weight will make. Should be another 1-2 lengths for the Z when he's in the cobra.
Good run.

Always nice to have you around Unit: vast majority of us don't have a clue of what equals what on them Cobras.
Hey David, that would only be adding insult to injury wouldnt it? I know I would get annoyed if the other guy edged me out THEN wanted to rerun with me carrying there passenger. BTW: your name is in green David, are you a mod? Thought only mods have colored names.

That was a camera.
He has stock manis and cubes.
It's been a long time since I've run a ported Eaton setup so I could be a little off, but as I recall...a 2.76 upper is going to make 12-14psi. I believe it's 14psi.

Either drop the passenger, or add one to the cobra. I would think adding insult to injury is winning by a couple car lengths while you have a passenger and your opponent doesn't.
Director of the Southern Section. Doesn't get as rowdy as the SR/K section so there isn't much to do.

Couldnt tell with the wind but it sounds like the cobra starts in 3rd gear? And why in the **** do Cobras race in 5th gear? That is asking for a hurt motor. Id like to see a 45-130. Daytime.

I know a guy around here that has a whippled cammed stock long block 04 cobra that sprays a 50 shot on top of it and drains 5th all the time. His car shouldve been in pieces for a long time by now.

I clearly think you have the edge also, but your opponent seems to think the cars are evenly matched.

I had just come back from the track and had my spare rims and slicks/tools in the back seat so id say thats around 100 pounds. lemons =170 pounds so your talking about 70 pound difference. The old girl had been beat on at the track then driven an hour before race so it was pretty heat soaked. But like they say excuses are like ********, everyone has one and they all stink. I would like to do a second gear roll but the Z cant hook in 2nd. no doubt the faster we go the Z just has better aerodynamics and is going to have the advantage.
