Arrow 1995 Camaro Z28 vs 2011 Mustang V6 **vids**

Been wanting to run this one for a while, turned out to be just as close as we thought. i was the cameraman for these runs and whichever car I was in lost, it was that close.

2011 Mustang V6- Roush axleback, 6 speed manual.
1995 Camaro Z28- intake, magnaflow catback, auto w/ stock 3.23 gears.

RUN 1= passenger in Mustang
RUN 2= passenger in Camaro (Z28 spun and got a bit sideways)
RUN 3= passenger in Camaro
RUN 4= no passenger in either

Tried to get in a roll, but it didn't work out. There will most likely be a rematch, hopefully with some more mods. Rolls might be included.

EDIT: Just adding a couple pics. Keep it mind, it was pitch black outside when we took these.

I actually kind of like the way that V6 mustang sounds. That would be a bad *** daily driver, and I wouldn't even feel bad driving it through winter. Hmmmmmmm......

BTW good races!

I never thought i'd say it, but the V6 mustang is a great car for the money.

Def is, and it has a pretty fancy direct injection V6 too with a 6 speed behind it. I'd rock one.

Direct injection is actually the biggest thing i dislike about the car, but other than that it's a sweet package for DD.

They start at what, 22k? It's really funny to watch them race 3V GTs, they don't lose by much.

Just waiting on the guy to pass the videos along.

I thought it sounds pretty damn good too, it crackles like crazy even under normal driving. It's actually my friend's mom's car, but she doesn't care if he takes it out plus if he says "hey let's do these mods" she's ready with her card to take his advice. More bolt-ons coming later for both cars.

I told you it was a good race, but I take it you didn't like the outcome?

Me and Brendon agree, 1 more mod and you might tie it up or walk right by. Put that shift kit in and something else and it'll be a whole new race. Once you get headers, he's gonna have to step it up. He said his mom wouldn't oppose a blower.

(For everyone else, this guy^ is the LT1 owner.)

****, Matt's car looks lowered compared to mine...well, my old car I should say. Now I'm the slowest in the group with no car.

Good races! I agree that the Mustang actually sounds pretty good. I'll have to keep my eye out for one around here for my brother to run.

Really? You didn't expect it to be that close? Looks like a pretty damn even race on paper.

It was pretty damn loud for just an axleback. They run pretty good too. He wants to get it in the 12s.

Yeah, on paper it looked to be a good matchup and the video seems to show that. I bet a 2011 Mustang would be a good match for the G8 too.

I don't think 12's will be too hard with those cars unless they don't respond well to mods.

Haha, of course I don't like the outcome! Thankfully, I'll be swapping motors eventually

On a side note, that V6 Mustang does sound pretty good IMO
