MPH means nothing... A 135mph car will get walked all over by a 125mph from a 20 roll if the 140 is 60' 2.0. and the 125mph car is 60' 1.4s.

So tires now making it a "drag car"???

What the **** is with everyone and this "Drag car" "racecar" talk to any car making decent power/running decent times. Since when does a radial make it a drag car? Guess what the baddest street/grudge cars out there run.. Radials/slicks. Those are cars that run on the STREET and know you have to have a tire to get a car to do anything anywhere.
Becuase the $2k and time is what makes a car "work". A $400 set of tires is a cop out to saying it works.

You try to get a normalish tire to 60' in the 1.4's on a dirty uneven street. What will happen is that 135mph car will drive around you.

Your car is a joke, even for what it is. The times are pitiful. I don't care if you add 50080832 excuses to the bag of excuses you already have.... Whether you call it a cruiser or not. You make fun of someone elses ride, expect someone to call you on yours.

I have nothing to hide with my setup... Forged 370 on the bottle. Just your average every day racecar.

My stock DD would be a good run for you.
Cool? Lol I guess most cam only cars are setup like **** lol. I honestly don't care what you think about MY car. I'm sure your **** is perfect!

I have a fab 9 for...had it for a year. But as I told lemon's it's on the street 99.9% of the time and it's not needed. Besides I'm sure you know how crappy a proper drag set-up is on the street. Me nor most people want that. except it. Lol....don't tell me how to build a car. You have to build the back first because inertia is your only hope.

And I blew holes in those corrected #'s. Just that simple.
I like being the best possible at both. Anything else is excuses.

I usually agree with what you say and back you in things... I can't with this. A car should be able to get down on the street and track. How my car runs on the drag strip is how I make 9 hour drives.

Also if you knew anything about gtos, which it's clear you don't, I'd say my "setup" works pretty well because most cam only gtos run worse than mine. But honestly it doesn't bother me. I never "made fun of" his car until he got butt hurt over the truth of it not being an 11 sec car. Then you had to nut hug it up.

60 foots from the track are irrelevant on the street. More than likely that 135 mph car is going to freight train right passed that 125 mph car. Seen it to many times.

I don't know anyone personally that can 1.4 on the street regardless of tire.

But a 1.3 60' car is still going to out 60' a 1.7 car on the street. Thats a fact, Jack!

Nut hug? I'll back anybody in this thread as quick as I'll call them out... Anybody that has seen me post knows that.

At what mph though? I run to 120mph... Anything else than that need to be on the track. If you haven't passed me by then, you shouldn't be running me.

A car that is only out MPH by less than 10 mph but jumps out 4-6 lengths from a dig is going to win.

If my car falls on its face after 70mph... My 1.3 60' is enough to assure me a win VS your pile.

Have you ever seen a 1.4 car jump out on a 1.7 car? It is quite violent.

That's the problem. A great STREET car is not a great DRAG car and vise versa. Alot of et's need to be taken with a grain of salt. Some guys go to the track to optimize for drag racing. I go to see what my STREET car runs. That's a big difference.

Exactly.

That's why that 1.3 car(which is a hell of a 60' that most won't see) .4 advantage gets chopped to a .2 or .1 advantage then gets walked by the higher mph car.

I never try to holeshot anyone on the street. I just try to leave beside them. The car will do the rest.

Whos to say one way from the other?

My car runs better on the track and on the street than the vast majority that post in here... All while being able to be DD just fine.

I wouldn't use sarcasm too much with that.
