Please tell me you didn't just say that. I think stoppy is right. You don't know what D/A corrected means.

I think there are some people that go a few times to the track or a gathering out on the streets that think all the sudden they are experts. This thread has been comical as I drink my coffee at work. Thanks guys!

Looks like you got a good running mach for the mods. Nice launches too.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves calling it an 11 sec. car, I'd say a low 12 second car looking at those runs. Any 1/4 mile tracks around your area? I'd be curious to see how it back half's.

For reference I was about 2.5 mph faster thru the 1/8 and only ran a 12.50. Granted I had a 1.85 60 ft due to stock converter.

Yes I am

Best part about it is the car is full weight minus the wheels. Even had over 1/2 tank of gas.

Because you know it would be .5 off w/o that tire. You do it for bragging rights. We do it just to see where our cars are....because after all these are street cars. if not then your in the wrong section.
What the ****? At least 80% of your posts are you bragging up Notch's car. I don't believe for one second that you don't do it for bragging rights. If that were true, maybe you would stfu about yours and Notch's car every once in a while.

I think the majority dont use it unless youre in colorado, mexico, etc etc with 7k DA.

The miswest assumes a standard 3-4k so we dont use it.

Me too

On another note, seriously, give credit where it is due. The whole slick vs. street tires argument is about as stupid as the Ford nutswinger's LS cubes argument and our "needs supercharger to be fast, 32v, etc." argument.

Stopsign found out a combination that works for him. Guess what, the better ET wins at the 1/4. Trap times don't mean **** at a place where the ET gets the win. If you have all that power and can't get it to the ground to ET well, you are doing it wrong.

All GM vs Ford, siding with these people and those people aside, Props, Stoppy.
