If you're really serious about running a Z06 how about going over to CORVETTE forum and asking a local to run you. You're probably not going to have much luck here in the SRK as most of the vette guys don't even post anymore because of the infinite number of trolls who've took over this section.

Besides it doesn't take big $ to go fast. Ever heard of going fast on a budget? I built my first 9-second car, Nitrous '86 GT, at 20yo as a college student working two jobs and doing mechanic work on the side. Did all the labor myself.

Within the first couple of pages you can see where it took a wrong turn. Basically, someone with a MACH 1 posted up an 1/8 mile ET & trap and did a calculation on what it should run in the 1/4. Went bad after that.
