My C6Z made 636rwhp on 93

I wonder if you could break 700whp?

VR added E85 to a customer car (C6Z) and it gave it 30whp (H/C C6Z)

That would be 666whp then a super light clutch - 10whp?

676rwhp

Wonder if you could find another 24whp? I had a ported MSD/NW 102 already

I'd love to have another one with 700whp N/A

*** My 636rwhp was with a Vararam as well - Halltech dynos higher but RPM picked up 1-2 mph with a Vararam on testing but dynoed lower. So mild clutch slip and Vararam it dyned 636.

Let me know your thoughts please. Where could you find 25whp? EWP plus.....?

My video, I uploaded again to Youtube

We been here since same year same month lol

im no expert on c6z but if you want to throw down the cash I’m sure a taller longer runner intake if some kind woukd increase hp and rpm on the ls7. It helps the lt1 a lot. But you gonna have to get a dif hood

NA 700 rwhp c6z would be incredible

That’s cool, King been around almost same time.

With 3100lb car just becomes a handful all the time trying to have fun on the street but yes 700whp N/A would be incredible with a manual

ok....

a mid engined vette...i been around a long time. i am not a vette fan, but my wife has owned a few and she is a chevy girl so we will own another one.

i cannot tell a lie. usually lol.

in a few years when one of these base models is sold used i will have one. for her of course. i still dont like vettes. even if they are light weight massive torque, massive horsepower mid engined super cars.

it has taken chevrolet since 1953 to build a supercar. you can give a c1, c2, c3, c4, c5, c6, c7 a bazillion horsepower. until the engine is behind you it's just a hyundai.

even if that hyundia has 760hp and outperforms everything on the planet.
I

It has eluded chevrolet for a hundred years..... WHAT makes a supercar. if its power to weight and handling, there are lots of lotus's that have that. there are lots of porsches. there are lots of 4 cylinder turbo civics.

as a matter of fact.

Bryant Brothers has a 900 WHP civic turbo. B18. 80mm single. weighs 1800. that civic will outrun all of our cars. is it a supercar? hardly.

FINALLY Chevrolet gets it. i wonder what it took to manufacture a mid engined Vette? there were counltess mid engines prototypes and chevy never pulled the trigger.

i predict this is the car of the year. i predict they cant make enough of them. if its priced for folks who make 100k or more they may sell a record number.

i'm just saying i want one for myself. ive never wanted a vette for me. finally.

Looking at the motor it looks like the intake is taller and similar to something like a hi ram but not quite as tall. No doubt without the clearance restrictions this looks like where they probably found most of the 35 hp increase. But then again it does not rev higher. I am surprised that the redline is still 6600 compared to the 7000 rpm range

question is will this intake bolt up to a lt1? A ported lt2 intake could end up being the best all around intake for the lt1. And may still fit under a stock hood...

I agree. I’m ready. And I’ll be 40 in 5-6 years. Just in time to pick up a couple year old model. Just in time for my mid life crisis lol

i still think you are crazy hio for claiming a 10.5 stock quarter mile. But hey if I’m wrong then great !

the new vette has the same power to weight as a stock C6Z. it will have better traction by a bit, but still similar 1/4 mile times.

i never really believed they would pull the trigger until i saw it. so now that they have, it changes everything. it really does. i still have teh back seat and seatbelt stuff. i might trade it. that's 4 years from now, so i cant retire on time. gotta work a few more years to own one if i can.

C6Z 505/3150
C8 495/3500

It will have better traction and weight transfer as well as power delivery with transmission

the wife just gave to OK to buying one, so it's looking good. working a extra few years is a good price to pay to have a mid engine supercar.

we have a family friend here who is 80 and drives his tri power 427 manual trans C2. its a goddamned thumper. he is a little guy lol. frail.

its bone stock but with with side exhaust. i havent gotten to drive it yet, but i think he will trade me a drive in the coyote for a drive in the L88. He loves the coyote. he love the idle sound and the 7800 WOT sound.

i will record my L88 drive and post it in here. he is helping with the tile in the new house. he still works hard at 80+.

I figured this thread would be a good read after that announcement last night. Glad to see it picked up in here and wasn’t the same old tired conversation.

I love everything but the rear end look, that will grow on me I’m sure but damn I miss the c5/c6 rear.

cant wait to see one in person

Ive been married long enough to admit when I’m wrong but I still think they’re going to run low - mid 11

Only reason I say that

If they drop the first one and tune is spot on what can they improve over next 2-3 years

When Z version comes out it’d have to be more aggressive to surpass base model to justify buying so that leads me to believe it’ll be soft (tune) and turn 11s

I agree with you on almost all of that haha. The leaks I saw had me cringing but it looked way better than the leaks I saw thankfully.

I will be shocked if these are touchable for sub 100k anytime soon. Markups and low numbers initially will keep them out of reach for a while I think.
