The c6 zo6 will do 198mph but it cant pull a 350zw/turbo past 150mph! Once again 
The 350z owner stated each time they hit 150mph the vette would stop pulling and he would ease ahead. Do you think the z6 zo6 is gonna stop pulling at 150mph? I dont think so. So what, if it has a turbo,its not gonna pull a c6 zo6. The zo6 owner said he beat him and i believe his story even if he was being an ******* in the thread. I would be pissed too though.

No way in Hell is a 400Hp 350z going to pull a C6 z06 vette past 160 or for that matter at any speed. That sounds just so retarted to even think of..

Either this guy is just talking out his ***, or one of these two things are true:
1. It was a 385-400HP 01-04 Corvette Z06
2. It was a regular LS2 Corvette with Z51 badges.
I'm guessing the latter, as its pretty damn hard to read a fender badge when you are traveling at 150+ MPH. But for him to honestly believe he beat a 500HP 3100lb Corvette Z06 at any speed, especially triple digits, he is a moron
And in the rare event that it was in fact a 2006 Z06, the guy was probably cruising in 6th gear at 1/4 throttle and didn't feel like wasting his gas on a 350Z, nothing like beating somebody who's not racing

I suppose we will know soon enough huh? The new C6 ZO6 is very nice no doubt about that. Would be really nice if you put an APS TT kit on it! Remember there is always something faster than you...and it might just be a 350Z

Now, having said that, the statistics given about your car and the stock C6 ZO6 favor the ZO6.
Properly driven, the ZO6 should have pulled you handily.

I think the 350Z guy is lying to just try and look good. 400 rwhp on the 350z's isnt even getting them 120 mph 1/4 mile speeds. Need to be around 430 rwho just to hit 120 mph. so i think he's full of shi*...
all the bone stock C6Z06 drivers I read about on corvette forum are trapping 121-127 mph. And Im sure most of us have seen the video of the stock C6z06 vrs the lamborgini...You can see the mph guage and the C6Z06 pulls at 150 mph the wayy a stock F body pulls at 110 mph. It's just sickening..
A 400 rwhp would have a good run against a stock 360 rwhp 2002 Z06. The 350Z would have 40 more rwhp but the 2002 Z06 would have 200 pounds less weight. The 400 rwhp 350Zshould win this race by 2 or so car lengths.
BUT AGAINST A C6Z06....NOT EVEN COMPARABLE..30-50 LESS RWHP...200 POUNDS LESS WEIGHT..As a matter of fact the lowest dyno Ive read of for a stock Z is 430 rwhp. the highest stock dyno is 470 rwhp. Just pretty much impossible unless the Z06 owner got craed and took there foot off the peadal..
Now a 475 rwhp 350Z...I could see it being very close.

Yea, its definitely funny. Most of the guys on that forum are a bunch of asshats anyways. They think that their 400 rwhp turbo'd 350z is the fastest thing on earth. I think 400 rwhp is about the low average here, and that may be a little low.
