You guys should keep the classifieds the way they are. It's awesome and people saying to change it back are just dinosaurs afraid of evolution. Great job ls1tech this is why this has always been my favorite site ever.

 

Change it back to the old style.

change it back to the old the new style is too cramped and harder to navigate. thats why i havent been on here lately it gets too annoying to try and search the classifieds. the older way worked just fine why change something if its not needed. also including ebay ads on here is kind of dumb IMO if people wanted ebay stuff they could go to ebays site. just my .02.

 

this post should have a poll option (like the other one that was locked). so we can actually give some good feedback AND show how many people will vote on if they like the change or would like it back etc.. i'm sure this wont happen for whatever reasons, pride, money, database issues, etc. however, it's clear that the classifieds are complete **** and a majority of the users would agree to change it back.

 

Is it just me or has nothing much been changed? I know it takes awhile but I just want to be sure. I am using my iPhone to check up all the time and on my screen everything is still the same except now we have ls and non ls parts separated.

 

pic didnt work. but yes nothing has changed that really matters like i said before they dont seem to care and got rid of a thread that was growing in votes to shield the fact that people are speaking up and dont like it.

 

People will speak up by moving to another forum like they did when ls1.com went down hill. Kinda sucks, I rather enjoyed being on here and spent most my time on here surfing the for sale section for no reason but to burn a wad of cash in my paypal account...... Not anymore till its changed back. If its not, I guess Ebay will just get more business

yup i can vouch for this exactly with a local site of ours. now we didnt have the fan base like tech but in three months a hand full of us shut down a local site because their big brother was mad over a sister ***** picture and got ban happy.

 

Dieseltruckresource did the same thing. They became ban happy and started changing the site constantly a few years back. The site is a 1/4 of what it used to be back in the early part of the decade

 

Are we ever going to see that search box go away? I can “deal” with the other changes but I can’t deal with that search box. Collapse it or something please. Give us an update on your plans too IB Adrian.

Nothing has changed about the cars for sale section either. I click on ls powered cars and the first thing that pops up is a 2003 mustang cobra. Now, you tell me, is that what I wanted to see or not? Thats a big NO!

If you are going to sell your car I suggest go to autotrader that way if you choose Chevy you get chevy, not Daihatsu or some bull ****.

To Internet Brands:

I work for the phone company, how about I rearrange your phone lines and give you the phone numbers for the gay bar down the street and then when you call in and say "its broken, I get calls for the gay bar down the street" I tell you its got dial tone, so its not broken and just leave?

I guess IB is going to go hide now and not respond or do anything about the for sale section since we keep on ranting. This site is your BUSINESS, WE are your CUSTOMERS. If your CUSTOMERS are not happy then we take our BUSINESS elsewhere and leave you with NO BUSINESS!

 

Also please, whatever you do don't mess with the regional classifieds! Luckily I live in Texas so I can still use that forum very easily.

 

I dont think you are looking at this right, IB looks at us a resource. And there goal is to put as much advertising in front of us as possible and still have us come to the site. We are not customers as our only value to the business is our eyeballs.

 

Yeah but with us on the site, we see these advertisements and buy into those ads by going to the store and buying the items in the ad. So in essence we are not customers directly but indirectly.

What I am mostly trying to say is that if we go elsewhere we won't see those ads and we won't buy from the sponsors so ls1tech will not get money from advertisers or sponsors. Hence IB will no longer see the site profitable and it will shut down and they lose out because they screwed up a perfectly good site.

 

this is an awesome site..i personally LOVE this website..and i fully agree with the **IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT** motto...the FS is a PITA to navigate..and i am not some damn dinosaur afraid of evolution as it has been implied...the old way the FS section was set up worked just fine and should have been left alone...and as far as sponsors go...i respect each and everyone of them...all of 'em.
They put the time and money into the R&D that makes our hobby so much more enjoyable...ever think of how things would be if STOCK was the ONLY option??? Now i may not be able to afford some of the nicer things they offer for our cars/trucks...but that doesnt mean i dont appreciate their work and or wouldnt buy from them if i had the coin to do so..

 

Sorry - we are working on adding some of the things you have requested.
Our main developer was away on vacation, and will be back next week, so sorry for the delay.
1st will be fixing the search speed, then adding the sort threads by, then ensuring the filters work on multiple pages.
We are then going to work on making sure that you don't have to see the filters on the left too.

maybe i'm the only one that thinks this but you guys should work on removing the things you added. thats a majority of the feedback. the little things people want to remove are suggestions to make it the way it was.....so, well isnt it obvious?
