Ok, admit it, if you walked by this WRX you would have just shrugged it off as another ricer in a car that thinks he can beat your Camaro or Silverado.
The Pontiac Fiero isn’t exactly a universally loved car. In fact, most people pan the little mid-engine coupe. It’s small, under-powered, and is often used to create terrible abominations such as fake Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and other weird contraptions.
This 944 however, is anything but what Porsche intended. Gone is the old Porsche motor, and in its place, a refurbished C5 Corvette drivetrain that now gives this gun metal grey Porsche the demonic presence it’s so rightly deserved.
GM’s LS engines are among the most used aftermarket engines used. You can find them in everything ranging from old-school hotrods, trucks, baja-inspired buggy’s, racecars, and even swapped into a Ferrari or two.

There have been faster and sleeker AMC Pacers modified big engines though this one with a hefty 8.2-liter Cadillac V8 dropped in takes the king sleeper crown for 2015.
