Car is to be daily driven, and other than a 12pt cage, will have a complete, family friendly interior.
And I promised my 2 young children that it'll be painted just like Herbie. Maybe the cartoonishness will lend itself to some "sleeper" effect.

Thinking about a turbo or two down the road.
Eventually building another one starting with a 4x4 and making it AWD with a Sy/Ty transfer case and converting it to 5 on 4-3/4 so I can run ZR1 5-spoke 17x11 wheels all the way around. Low, mean and brutally fast.

Car--1986 Monte Carlo SS w/ 355 and 200r4
Recieving: lq9 from a 2003 Escalade and 4l60 tranny, stock engine for now with true dual exhaust, thats about it.
