i gotta question for you guys with LSx swapped S10 pickups. what is better to start off with for the swap, an original auto trans truck or original M5 truck?

I think they are both M112's they just have different intakes.

I think these will be the most fun http://www.eatonperformance.com/superchargers/TVS.html

well, since no one else is talking... i might as well.... so, i havent had my truck running for over a month and im getting very eager to get back working on it. next, i wanna take my wiring harness out, modularize it (so i can actually unplug it from the truck), and wrap it. i didnt bother wrapping it in case i had to make any corrections.

its going to be a big job taking it out too. i hid it under the booster and heater box so the pass fenders have to come off, along with the hood too. id also like to extend my harness since it doesnt come out as far as i would like.

extending will be a big fiasco. theres over 100 wires going into the pcm and i want an extra 5" of wire... lots of splicing!! im contemplating making another harness and possibly selling the one thats in there now. the harness will be long enough for anyone that will run it on top of the engine bay in the stock location. i need to get some other connectors in order to make another harness. does anyone have any ideas for some connectors to use? it has to be compact, weather tight, and have about 15 - 20 wires through it... i was looking at some connectors off a 94 - 97 blazer...

I didn't answer before 'cause my motor has not been swapped yet but I really think it would depend on whether or not you want to go auto or stick. You prolly want to start out with what you want to end up with. I personally have an auto and I'm goin stick.

i'm pretty much the same way. but doin the opposite, i have a 5 speed blazer and am swapping to an auto. when i was lookin for one i was hoping to find one automatic but i couldn't find any i liked other than this one so i am just gonna deal with swappin a little more things than others.
