first startup was actually during the day on sunday....but I didn't fix the idle issue until last night. Intake was slightly "cocked" causing the passenger side runners to not be seated against the gasket on the bottom

If you say so....... With the nose that light you better rethink that until you get the suspension figured out. Put them on, set them to 10" or so and be safe, at 51% and being a torque arm car its going to be tough to handle. I was at 55% and it easily wanted to wheel stand. 51% is lighter than most 275 radial cars.
