I've gone through all 65 pages, and have to buy you a beer for all of this.

Kudos man!

Wow with friends like that who needs enemies! There's nothing like a "friend" to kick you in the junk right after something like that happens. Chill out dude. There's no reason to be an *** about his misfortunes. You wouldn't like it if someone was riding your butt after you melted down your all billet block, billet intake, custom one off turbo build on the first run. There is such a thing as karma and it sucks when it comes around.

For those of you who want to see something sad

pics of the rhs block damage

its still fixable though...good thing this wasn't an iron block or it would be scrap...at least aluminum blocks can be welded up.

I didn't imagine it to look that bad for some reason. Looks like a beaver chewed the sleeves!

I assume it would be a PITA to weld the inside of a block back up as all the welds would have to be perfectly milled down to the original specs b4 the "explosion"?

I like that second pic showing the liner just hangin in the wind... must be tough with no block around it. That thing would prob be done for good if it was a stock block, no?

What ever happened with the BS3? Scrapping it for something else during the reset?

some minor updates...

Repainted the damaged hood while I painted the golf cart...stupid wind

painted the exhaust pipes coming through the fenders with a high temp black paint...also had to clearance some for the front tires, they were rubbing when the wheels were turned...

set up the EGT system to kill the ignition if any of the egts get too far out of line...this should help prevent serious carnage in the future.

Also, made some modifications to the turbo oil return to help the scavenge pump work better. it was pulling a vacuum on the turbo and then not pulling sufficient oil back to the pan causing oil to get into the compressor and turbine housings I added a vent system to prevent this from happening

All I need now is a bullet

If he really takes $12K this seems right up your alley for a new bullet

Didn't you sell your car to the guys in Aussie land? Wasn't it in the latest GMHTP with the fastest cars from down under? Only thing that made me think it was yours was the 14.5:1 CR and heads.
