KP got his '98 T/A into the 8's in the 1/4 with his SDCE bracket, he never had any problems with it that I know of. Bob

If you still haven't found the problem I'd start checking for a boost leak, I'd check all the tubing to hose connections first, since you have made more boost in the past. It could also be a hole in the intercooler(s) or a faulty bypass valve.

It sounds like you don't have a boost gauge in the car, I'd install one so that you can troubleshoot your combination. You can even temporarily install a boost gauge out on the cowl by taping it to your windshield wiper, if you don't want a permanent installation. Bob
There might have been a tad of black dust on the s/c but not that much to worry about it slipping i wouldnt think, plus I have Asters bracket setup on the car.

I just cleaned the air filter before I dynoed it the day before.

Is there like a smoke test you can do or something like that to test for leaks?

I have a boost gauge in the car.

Are you running a 2-3 bar map sensor? I'd confirm with the map sensor first exactly how much boost your are really seeing.

Best way to test is cap off the piping at the intake and at the supercharger. And for best results put air on the top side of the bypass valve to simulate boost holding it down (but if you feel really good about your bypass valve just remove it and cap it off). Then charge the piping with air pressure and listen. Worst case spray soapy water and look for something. Tiny leaks can be expected but hearing air coming out not acceptable.

I agree, this is the most fail safe was to check for boost leaks. Bob

I switched from a MAF tune to a 2 bar SD.

I'll have to try this to see if that is the reason.

Hell I should be seeing more than 11-12psi with a 3.4 pulley shouldnt I?

The reason I asked about the map sensor was to check those values rather than a boost gauge.

I am seeing over 14psi of boost with a 4.0" pulley with a 7.65" crank pulley at 6800rpm. I'm running Performance Induction 215 heads (Mast), 227/235, 113 cam, FAST 90/90 intake, long tubes, ory pipe on a stock cube motor if that gives you a comparison. I'm running a FMIC with 3" charge pipe, truck inlet and the biggest filter Bob sells.

Yeah it was seeing like 11.7, and the power would drop off pretty bad past 5400 Rpms. The last dyno it was carrying power past that point.

Yes, the 31x12x4 intercooler can work with the fog lights. Bob

This is the system I bought. Just a blower, & alcohol injection, not his engine or truck!!
I'm putting it in my red car shown in my signature.
