Default Headers. What has the most bang for your buck

What is the best for stock engine and most hp for low amount of money. And if i get headers installed professionaly will i have to keep replacing the gaskets every month. My brother had a iroc-z l98 and he had to keep replacing the gaskets on his edelbrock headers.????!!????

get pacesetters and you'll be replacing them with stainless steel headers. Get QUALITY stainless steel headers from the beginning.

pacesetters ftw, no sense in paying a grand for headers when you can get them for 300 bucks.

I've noticed you've been starting a lot of threads here the last couple weeks asking questions that have been asked again, and again. I'm not gonna come at you like an *******, but the search engine is your friend. I just spent 2 min. (if that) searching "headers bang buck" in the gen III external section and selected relevancy. Here is the plethora of links that popped up. Please try searching for your questions first. If not for the sake of saving bandwidth, but for the fact that some information will be in other threads that someone will not bring up in your thread you create (maybe because they're tired of saying it again and again). Here's the links

Some will say pacesetter/ebay LT's but the guys that don't want to do the same mod twice will tell you TSP's at a minimum

Ebay stainless and love em.

Stainless is best, unless you live in AZ/TX with no rain and don't mind replacing them every few years.

ebay headers they used to fit like crap so they get no respect but it seems that everyone thats bought them in the last few years has had good luck with them. I'd use them with either a TSP or custom ORY. now if you want more info on ebay headers or any other headers USE THE SEARCH BUTTON.

As far as bang for buck the Ebay SS headers are by far the best option. You can pay 4x or more for the ls1tech name brand headers and if you see any gain over the Ebay SS's it will only be a couple HP. It's very possible to get stainless headers and full exhaust for under $500.
