Seriously, no tire kickers.

This is one of the most sought after systems period, as soon as they hit on a board they are GONE.

Just curious.

If they just made the muffler and tailpipes you could buy the 3 inch I pipe and over the axle from Walker/Dynomax.

Anyone?

I'll take one right now.

I would be happy if I could find a Dual Dual that isnt hacked apart for less than $500.00. If I owned a Camaro I would definitely buy the TOTL.

look at accord silverado and 240SX mufflers... lot's of single in one side dual out opposite side setups on those cars. and those are pretty easy to fab up to fit in our factory muffler location.

I know it's a flowmaster bite me (first one I found).. lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/Flowmaster-5...#ht_2103wt_642
but something like that should make it pretty easy, as far as the tips.. a good chrome or powdercoat shop should be able to take care of that part for you, have a shop get you a nice section of pipe that you can prep and take to someone to get it together for a nicely sized/shaped set of tips to go side by side.

Magnaflow makes a single 3 inch in, dual 2.5 out muffler, or use a single in/out Magnaflow and after the 90* out put a splitter in and make dual tips close to the muffler..

Buy a stick of 2.5 inch stainless pipe and have the ends slash cut, weld them on.

But hell, I don't wanna do that crap, I want the real deal 2OTL!

any good exhaust shop should be able to hand it all in house, But I know what you mean by wanting the "real deal", I could especially see it for some of the true 96-97 SS guys

I've had 2 SLP 2OTL on old LT1 cars. 1st one fit terrible (bought in 1995), 2nd one was much better(bought in 2000).

It sounded nice, but to answer the question, if it was available again I would take a pass.

If I still had a 4th gen, and I could buy a 2OTL system, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That said...I don't even have my 4th gen anymore (been gone almost a year now since I replaced it with the 2010 SS), and I still have a set of NOS 2OTL tips in storage that I won't part with.

...I'd even consider buying a full 2OTL system new to put in storage for the 4th gen I intend to eventually buy again (I really want a 2002 SOM M6 SS some day)...but that'd be adding to my stable, not replacing my 2010.

I didnt think they sounded that much different than the dual/dual. Both were very quiet.

It does sound close to a dual dual but it weighs less. I get compliments on my 2OTL all the time. If they made it brand new I would pick one up. I love mine even though it was used when I got it.

They'll never do it...there's just no market for it. That time passed a long, long time ago. It's sad, but a few 4th gen F-body enthusiasts just aren't enough to turn a profit on something that wasn't even that popular when these cars were in their prime.

did the 1st one have the tips/tailpipes with the slight down bend in them? Like a dog leg? Ive seen thouse and wonders about them.

When I got mine it was super quite, even tho it has some loose rust pieces shaking around in it and it was over 10 years old. But after I took it over 6K with the cam it got a lot louder. I still love it, it been thew alot. I would but one again. Thought about making the tips, and the tubing alum to safe some weight, but I dont have a TIG, and the thinner tubing will make it louder.

SLP still has a muffler like it, they had 2 styles in fact for truck. Ones 3inch inlet the other is 2 1/2. The size is a little different

I have my 2otL off right now and the muffler case is 18 x 9 1/2 x 4 3/4

I have a folder too with tons of new and used 2OTL and dual /dual pics. And the cone or silence ect.

No, both sets I had both tailpipes were straight with maybe a very slight bend towards the left coming directly off the muffler. They definitely did not have any downward bend on the pipes.

I thought it was a fairly loud exhaust and got louder as it aged. I thought it was much louder than a dual dual system or even a Magnaflow for that matter.

I called SLP today and asked them about the truck muffler, they said it was 21 inches long but much wider than the 2OTL muffler and if it did fit it would be VERY tight.

Studderin please measure your muffler and let us know, if its close I will jump on one of these truck mufflers.

The 2OTL muffler has one row of weld marks, the truck muffler has two. Wonder what the difference is?

Quick Reply: If SLP made the 2OTL again, would you buy it?????
