Ordered a set of Speed Engineerings 1.75" Long tubes with the y-pipe and some NGK TR-6s and MSD Wires to get those done while I'm at it. Going to get them installed and have it tuned in the coming weeks. Looking forward to getting them in!!

We just finished the stock 6.0 swap using the 1-7/8 headers and y pipe.
Man these fit perfect with the y pipe even though this car had been hit hard in the rear and the repair wasnt perfect.
The clamps they come with seeemd to do ok for now but well find out i due time.
The clamps kinda suck as they arent perfectly round but they do work.
Im glad i bought them 100%.
Our other fbody will get a set also after i decide which engine to go into it.

Just ordered a set of 1 7/8 race and a Y pipe. Will be installing with spohn solid motor mounts. I'll update when i do the install.

Anyone fitted the 1 7/8 headers in a second gen f-body and got some feedback on fit?

Also how are these headers generally holding up over extended periods of time, any issues with cracking or anything?

Anyone know if the Speed Engineering Y pipe is going to fit with my XS Power/LPP LT1 headers? Should've dealt with Speed Engineering in the first place (or Kooks if I had money.) Ordered through LPP, and they sent an incorrect Y pipe. When I told them this, I was sent a Speed Engineering Y...

Yes, it was specifically labeled as Speed Engineering, and shipped from Fresno, CA.

I called to order the 1 7/8 & Y pipe a few times a few weeks ago but no answer so I left a message but never got a return call, just checked the website and now says out of stock no current ETA

anyone mind giving me installed dimensions for these? I'm putting my Ls1 in a 51 chevy truck sitting on a s10 chassis and I'd like to see if these will clear. mainly looking for how far they extend off the block.

1 7/8" are expected to arrive some time next week.

DesertHawk: I would go with our C10 swap longtube headers. They are the tightest longtube we offer and will give you the best chance for fitment. Here is a link to them:
